The Woodshire Inn & Cocoa Pesto Bistro

We spent a night at the Woodshire Inn just before Christmas and the experience could not have been better. Check in was a breeze thanks to the friendly and relaxed staff, who made us feel like we were visiting family. We were joined for dinner by friends who live in the area and it was simply amazing. All four of us, who have travelled extensively in North America and Europe, agreed that it was one of the best meals we had ever had! The service was excellent and the food fresh and expertly prepared. Our room was very well appointed and very comfortable; such a peaceful night in a quiet community and we slept like babies. The breakfast that Scott prepared for us the next morning was hearty and delicious; freshly made french toast and perfectly cooked bacon, topped with blackberries - Yum!. We had such a great experience and were treated so very well by Scott, Marilyn and staff, that we can't wait to go back! This is truly a gem in the heart of Windsor.

This is a case of looks fancy , advertised as high quality, but fails to deliver on either. Food was below standard, bread pudding was the worst I've ever had. Appetizer was the only thing edible. Service was poor and administered by someone who doesn't like their job. Never good form to argue with the customer, or be haughty. Way overpriced for the quality. The couple with us was double charged for their bill and they had to argue with the owner for over a week before they would reimburse them for the error. I wouldn't go back even if it was free. An overall poor experience that I would not recommend to anyone.

My wife and I went to get lunch for our anniversary. The prices were fantastic we both had a 3 course meal for 29.95 each. We started with smoked salmon and calamari which was some of the freshest tasting fish and the calamari was super crisp and not a taste of fishiness. For entress we had braised Lamb Shank which fell off the bone with perfect flavor and just a small touch of game. The Neptune penne was a perfect balance of sweet, spicy and saltiness. It was loaded with salmon and shrimp which were perfectly cooked. Dessert was a apple crumble cheesecake which for someone who isn't a huge fan of cheesecakes I couldn't get enough. The service was impeccable and I have no negative on our experience there.

The family went to the Woodshire Inn Beastro for supper. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was excellent. The service was a bit slow however. Overall we had a great time and will be back.

One of my favorite places to dine. Great staff, great food and reasonable prices for the quality of food offered.

Went to the woodshire Inn for a birthday dinner. Had some of the most amazing ribs I have ever had would definately recommend.
