Stayed overnight with my wife. The place is An Absolute Gem. Class, Charming, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean and fantastic. high ceiling, spacious, very comfortable bed and large lovely bathroom with jacuzzi. The Staffs are friendly and very accommodating. This well kept Historic Inn has in house restaurant and bar. Great Dining experience. A Special thanks to the reception on duty for helping me printout some files and to Mala who attended us on our complimentary breakfast and offered me coffee while waiting after I checked out.The inn is steps away from downtown Cobourg. All in all a great experience. Will definitely come back!
We had a wonderful stay at the Woodlawn in with a room on the second floor. It’s in a great location, within walking distance from the waterfront and Main Street. The dinner we had in the outdoor courtyard was delicious! Given the safety measures around Covid-19, we felt comfortable and safe!
I went here for a company meeting. Definitely a very cute “historic” place, in quotes as from what I understood no particular historic event had happened here, but the place is furnished and stylized to an older time period. I didn’t notice any great service, but again we were there just for a banquet room and some refreshments.
Well received by the staff. Excellent breakfast. Very charming and inviting accommodations. Plan to visit again. Definitely a hidden gem.
Attended Inspiring Women lunch in. Well organized. Meal was delicious. Service was excellent. Hope to return soon.
Authentic food at a decent price with great service.
I have been staying here for several days. The king room is lovely, Spacious and quiet. My compliments to the chef. I have had a different menu item every night for dinner and the meals have been excellent. Food is very fresh and perfectly prepared.Rooms: 5/5
What a classy place! Love the cozy bar area. We were here for a gin tasting, which was held in the lovely private dining room. What a terrific event! Well done, Stephen! While we didn't eat here, we will be back, since upon reviewing it, the menu carries a lot of interesting dishes.
Awesome place to stay! Great people and great food!
I stayed there for a couple of days in early March. The place is fantastic. The rooms were beautiful. The living room had a fireplace and a very fine sofa, love seat, easy chair and a huge ottoman. The bedroom was incredible - a huge king sized bed with canopy. The bathroom had a jacuzzi. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was famtastic. The breakfasts were complimentary for an overnight stay and very filling. Wasn’t hungry again until mid-afternoon. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back again!
