The Whitehouse Restaurant

Good food, but service was terrible, although our server was nice and cheerful. Lots of mix ups and soup served after the entree!! 2 at our table served entrees way ahead of the third person's very late arriving entree. However we've eaten here before with no problems. Except once having to correct the math on our bill as it was 7 dollars over. Oh well. Food and cozy atmosphere is great!!!!

Quirky little place, tons of things to try. Friendly staff. Classic burger & fry type food. Delicious onion rings. Outdoor picnic tables with music on good days. Definitely worth the stop on your road trip.

Rode our bikes here from Midland and knowing Whitehouse was at the end of our trip pushed me on! Burgers here are delicious and the service is always friendly. If you are in the area you really should stop here for a meal. Plus the building is so cute....small but cute. If you come during very busy hours you may have to wait but it's well worth it. This is almost like eating at Grandma's because it seems Grandma's are cooking and serving!

Went to open the door and was told they were full and we would be next if we waited on the bench (party of 3 w/infant). Waited 15 minutes and a man and his son walk right in. Another couple came up and was told they would be next. Overall tone was rude. Had a feeling they didn't want an infant in their cramped space on a Saturday morning. Went down the street and was welcomed to a kid-friendly restaurant.
