Ponderosa Steakhouse

Just don't do it. Every 10 years you get weak and hungry and think Ponderosa is what you remembered as a youth. Its not. Keep the old memory and don't replace it will a current bad one. Steak is off color, flavorless and surprisingly tough for such a thin slice. Starch bar seems so tempting but everything seems to have a unfamiliar distinctive taste. Kids will love it. Adults not so much.

*****Ponderosa Mount Pleasant *** The wait staff at ponderosa mt pleasant are always outstanding. The food is normally disappointing, especially for the price. We were there from 11:30 - 1pm (lunch) You'd have thought that the food would have been fresh. When we ask about new food they mixed more old food into the pots. Wednesday before dinner hour is apparently majority older diners. Is this why they had little concern for food quality at this time? The chicken wings were so bloody, wish that I could post a photo, discovered this as I tried feeding them to my little boy.

The wait staff were great and friendly. But getting the Buffet was nasty. NO VARIETY CHANGE in years. Always cold and taste like been sitting for hours. The part that really is funny is they can't even afford a little sign so you know what kind of salad dressings they offer. I was watching people pouring it their fingers tasting it, or just sticking fingers in the buckets to get a taste. Yea there went my appetite for salad. Guess it will be another 3 years before I go back, hoping for a new selction, and some signs.

Ordered steak. Finally had to call waitress over to find our steaks. Luke warm and tough. Did not offer refills on drinks.

Great salad bar!! Always fresh and good. Casual family dinning.
