Absolutely amazing! Me and my friend went to celebrate my first day of vacation. The restaurant was full and the atmosphere was great. Everyone was cheerful. The food was great. Loved the selection of cocktails. I haven't found many drinks around Jasper that I liked. But whisky jack didn't disappoint. I had the Hawaiian Breeze that took me away from Jasper to some islands. The strudel served with ice cream and whipped cream was delicious. My friend had the brisket with fries and loved it. Just see the pictures and better yet, try it yourselves.
Really disappointed with tonight's meal. Ordered the Caeser Salad with chicken.....and thank god I added chicken otherwise the only thing in my salad would have been Cos Lettuce, Parmesan Cheese and a herb breadcrumbs. The was nothing to this salad at all and cost alot. The chicken that was added was about 10 small slices of chicken, certainly not working the extra $8 charge. Won't be dining here on the 2nd night we have in Japser, and would recommend heading into town for better options.
This was, hands down, one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long while. We ordered black pepper fried tofu, Vienna schnitzel, and shrimp pasta. Blueberry pie special for dessert. Every dish was impeccable, from presentation to the taste and value for your money. The portions were generous, but not to excess. All the ingredients were fresh. The sauce for the tofu was clearly made in-house and delicious! The pie slice came with fresh whipped cream and a scoop of delicious vanilla icecream. The crust on the pie was perfectly cooked and flaky, the blueberry filling wasn't too sweet. The shrimp was sweet and clean-tasting. The pork schnitzel was lightly seasoned and perfectly beaded. We will definately be back! We've come back for dinner here again the next day. We had the Blackened Prime Rib, the Delux Sushi Platter, the calamari and shrimp tempura appetizers. The food was once again wonderful!
The food here is disgusting. They don't know how to prepare the food they have on their menu. The food on their specials board was not even available. The pho soup is not even close to resembling actual pho soup. Food is bland and seems like it is packaged from a store and just heated up. The waitress seemed embarrassed to serve their food and didn't return after aserving our food to us. It's mind boggling to understand how some people find their food edible? Do they have paid people to put up false reviews? I would not recommend eating here and wasting your hard earned money and ruin your holiday. There's so many other good places to eat.
Excellent and friendly staff. The food is good and the service was fast bison and elk sausage was our favourite. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and the interior reminded me of a no-frills family style restaurant. They also have patio seating for those who want to soak in the mountains while enjoying some food and drinks. Food prices here are more reasonable than other places, probably because of the location it’s about a 15-20 min walk from the centre on the edge of town. Overall we really enjoyed our experience here and would definitely come back again.
Tofu is good. However, the foods are pricey.
The food was beautiful. We had 4 taster dishes as we wanted something light. The tempura prawns and calamari were melt in your mouth perfection. The salad fresh and crunchy, and the pitta with Stilton and grapes delicious. Service was friendly and efficient lovely. Totally recommended.
We ate here on the recommendation of our hotel front desk. I ordered the chicken cordon blue. It was OK, the sides were inedible. Husband had the prawn & pea pasta. Came with 3 shrimp. He said the peas were fresh out of the freezer and couldn't finish the dish. Our waitress was never seen again after bringing us our food. So no refills on pop or water. Had to find her to pay the bill. This place is a better drinking spot than a food restaurant. One guy at the bar was going around trying to bump smokes.
Busy friendly restaurant attached to hotel. Clean, efficient and great food. We had: Brisket- superb! Salmon equally as good. Highly recommend.
Our experience here was sub-par. We waited nearly an hour for food that did not match menu description. First, the kids’ Mac n Cheese is Kraft Dinner. $9.00 for half a box of KD - a congealed portion of KD. My chicken caeser salad was dry. The salad was dry and the chicken was dry and only tasted like charbroil - no seasoning. My husband ordered the brisket on a bun and it was just that. No other toppings. Dry beef on a dry bun. He also asked for gravy for his fries, and received a bowl of au jus. Finally, my son ordered pho which was described as having chicken. He received a bowl of pho with soggy tofu. There is no tofu mentioned on the menu. He loves pho of any kind and could not eat even half of it. He said it tasted burnt. His bowl was full of little black flakes, so I tasted it and it was indeed some sort of burnt flavouring in the broth.
