It's like Christmas, every dish is a surprise! We were seated inside immediately and approached rather quickly for our drink order / to ask any questions. Beyond that, nothing happened very quickly, or accurately. We ordered chips & guacamole +$3 for guacamole, instead of salsa, received chips & salsa $8 , tho they did bring guacamole. We ordered wild mushroom pizza & they brought bacon pizza. They no longer had dry hopped sour so they gave me a tropical fruit beer. All of the mixed drinks I tried were too sweet & a fruity beer does not fill in well for a sour lover, it wasn't that anything was bad, it just wasn't what we ordered & it took 2hrs for pizza & chips. I do love the layout & decor throughout. There are both standard tables & hightops, as well as patio seating. They just need to work out the kinks, like, giving you what you order.
Went there for lunch and it was getting really busy. The atmosphere was great. They have a big patio and was also packed with people. The food, drink, and service were good. However, it took a while for the drink and food since they were very busy. They messed up with my order but upgraded my steak to a ribeye, which was delicious.Food: 5/5
Great place for food and bevys. Patio has a nice view and the whole place looks great. Our food was absolutely delicious fried chicken sandwich + quesadilla, for the price you really can't get any better just about anywhere. Will definitely be back and cannot recommend enough!Food: 5/5
Had the whiskey glazed blue cheeseburger with an extra patty but I don't think the extra patty was needed. This burger was THICC. One of my favourite burgers ever. Staff was friendly and attentive, atmosphere was amazing.Food: 5/5
Perfect location for an awesome building with lots of parking & easy access. Restaurant has great views & ample space. Really great floor plan. Our son & his wife took us here for a final meal with a friend who's leaving. Our waitress Angela is fantastic, we really enjoyed her. Drinks included - 2 Long Island Ice Teas, Double Reg Paralyzer, Glass of Red & White Wine. Entrees - 2 Wangus Burger, Whiskey Glazed Blue Cheese Burger, Spicy Fried Chicken Burger & Chicken Caesar Salad. Everything is delicious, fantastic service & wonderful atmosphere. We'll definitely return should the opportunity present itself.
Medicine Hat is a fun city and went for lunch today at The Whiskey District Restaurant. The food was just absolutely delicious, the drinks were fantastic and the liquor was amazing. I highly recommend this place. The prices were really good, the service was great what more can I say. Check out the photos and the ambiance of this great place. They have garage doors that roll up and you feel like you’re sitting outside it’s so cool. Love this place!!
Been here a few times, really enjoy the atmosphere and the drinks are always great. Service is very fast and friendly. Food has always been lackluster. Notably didn't like the burger buns. Maybe I just haven't found my "thing" here.Food: 3/5
Went there for lunch on a Sunday. Food and service were both great. Loved the atmosphere of the place and the view overlooking the city was just added to it. Looking forward to going again.Food: 5/5
We went Saturday around 5pm and it was almost full, we were lucky to found a table without reservation. Great atmosphere with nice view, fantastic server Renee, and good food. We love the Nachos and hamburgers, but the Indivual Pizza was a bit disappointed for us, anyway we definitely come back and try something else next time because we had a nice experience.
My friends and I went to dinner here from out of town visiting for the convention of Jehovah's Witnesses and I was so impressed with how the staff handled everything. They were very busy and at no fault of their own, ran out of many food items but we still had a delicious dinner and they even gave us a discount which was very generous. I also work in customer service and I know how difficult things can get and I really admire and appreciate how everyone kept their cool. I will definitely come back again next time I visit Medicine Hat! Thank you again!
