what a great little spot to grab a quick bite to eat. It was my first time going there this morning, and I meant Shelly, the owner. She was super friendly, and dressed up for Halloween today. This is hands down the best breakfast sandwich I've had anywhere in the city. I highly recommend! They're open Monday till Friday. The atmosphere inside is fantastic! Can't recommend this place enough. I'm enjoying my breakfast sandwich as I read this review.
The food was horrible got 2 different sandwiches and both had pound of butter on them and one little corner slice of meat. Took one bite and threw them both in the garbage. Wouldn't suggest this place at all!!
Small and welcoming, best homemade meal by far! The morning person on the Monday we went in greeted us right away, polite and friendly, and we will be returning more often because of the at home feel we had.
Nice little deli. I was told about this place so I decided to try it since my reliable Subway has been on the decline in my opinion I am impressed with this nice little gem and have been coming back almost every lunch to get the 8.00 special. I have yet to get. Soup I do not like.
Excellent variety of homemade food. Sandwiches, paninis, soups, wraps, salads, sweets and treats, it's all there! Plus they also do a variety of catering...definitely impressed with this place, a great stop for breakfast and/or lunch!!

A HUGE toast to Prairie Kettle Deli. Approx. a couple weeks ago I had ordered a soup and salad. The soup was amazing as always, but the salad was soft/wilted. I let her know. She offered to buy my next lunch. I just had to tell her who I was. Well I've been in there a few times since and have paid for my own meals My choice. I purposely didn't tell her who I was. The meals were amazing as always. She checked in with me last night. I told her I didn't want her to buy my meal. I enjoy the food and it was only the one time. She said a deal is a deal and stood by it on her end. I agreed to allow her to buy my soup and salad. I told her I was just waiting for one of my favorite soups to show up on the menu. Well she put it up for today. When I went in she immediately asked if I was the one in the messages. She said she was asking everyone that looked like me. She bought my lunch for me. If you haven't eaten there before, please do check it out. Amazing local deli for sure! You feel so welcome when you walk in her door.
Unassuming from the outside but a total gem in Medicine Hat ! The ladies are fantastic, the food is fantastic. They’ve always got a fresh selection of baked goods, fresh fruit and snacks. And all the food is local, from the bread to produce ! You’ve got to check this place out if in the area, perfect spot for lunch.
This is a great sandwich place. She has a variety of homemade sandwiches, salads, squares, cookies, and snacks. Also, a good selection of cold drinks and chips. This is the place to go for a tastey, really good lunchtime sandwich or even a breakfast sandwich.
I am the owner/operator of this deli and would like to respond to Garthe Alaric review. My standards in this deli are of upmost to importance to me and I am very sad to have to defend myself on this situation. I would like to say that my meatloaf was served to many others that day and I took the time out to call customers to make sure it was fine. No problem. I did try and respond to this person by a call back and did not answer my call. Please note that my reviews are all positive and one disgruntled customer tries ruin my reputation.
