The Villager is by far one of the best places to get breakfast in Kent. Their American/Mexican cooking style ensures that there are a variety of options for even the pickiest eater. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating with a "seat yourself" style which invites a laid back atmosphere with a friendly staff. Note: they will sometimes automatically apply a tip to your bill although they will not tell you they have...be on the side of caution and ask! (Of course, a big tip is never a problem)

Extremely bad experience with the management. Food and service was just average. First..they added $4 to the bill just for providing extra plates, their logic was that they charge extra if the food is shared (although we had ordered 1 entree per person). Second..they added 18% gratuity by default, although ours was not a large group and there was nothing mentioned in the menu about this. Their logic was that people sometimes don’t leave tip and that is why they added it by default. Add to this, the manager had extremely lame and unprofessional excuses. Not at all recommended.

Quaint little place we went for breakfast. Excellent food and prompt, courteous service. We had the Corned Beef and Cheddar Omelette, 2 Egg Special, Breakfast Burrito and Blueberry Pancakes. All were delicious! Highly recommended if you're in this area and hungry. Excellent portions and the homefries were wonderful! Outdoor seating is available.

Beware !! I went there with high hopes seeing the ratings but the food was very average and the service was sub par. It seems that most of the 5 star ratings are fake, from family or friends maybe.

Small establishment in Kent, CT. They have Mexican Tuesdays which are to die for. High quality ingredients and nice staff. However, getting in on Tuesdays can be somewhat difficult. Their breakfast is amazing and always rather fast. Overall if you are in Kent, it is a definite must do. 6/21/17
