Gooseboro Drive-In opened on a smoldering hot Fourth of July Weekend in 1961. In fact, it was so hot and busy that first weekend , owner, Bob Hammer had trouble keeping the bottles of soda cold! 50 years later Bob is still proudly serving his delicious food to the residents of Litchfield County.
