We dont usually come out to Park Royal often, but when we do, we always have to eat. The mac and cheese is apparently really good from what my wife and daughter say. I really enjoyed my bbq chicken pizza. The crust is the best part ! My wife had the eggs benny and she enjoyed it, they used a croissant instead of an english muffin. I enjoyed her little fried potatoes. Great atmosphere and service, especially on a sunny day. Raincouver has been depressing the past 7 months!
I came here many times. It’s a great corner pub in the community of West Vancouver at Park Royal. Plenty of big screens to watch games and events. Great menu. The atmosphere kinda almost feels cabin ish. Best part is there’s tons of free parking all around.nnMy recent visit was back in winter. The food is delicious as usual. However our young male server wasn’t up to par. His energy felt dull. His recommendations weren’t too lively. No check ups or refills. At one point I wanted to order another round of drinks but decided I rather not. It felt like he was getting off his shift soon and wanted to cash out on the tips. I could be mistaken but it this night was a one time off night in the years I’ve been a patron to this place. Each time the hostess passed by us we asked for our server.nnOverall in general it’s a great place. Unfortunate miss. I even had no more motivation to take any more pictures of our food and drinks.
The Village Taphouse is an absolute gem and easily our go-to spot—whether it’s for a casual weeknight dinner, weekend drinks, or just a place to hang out with good company. We’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints!nnThe vibe is what sets it apart—super welcoming, laid-back, and full of life. Whether you’re posted up at the bar, grabbing a booth with friends, or soaking up the sun on the patio, it always feels like the right choice.nnLet’s talk food—everything slaps. The burgers are top tier the Taphouse Burger is a must, and the Thin Crust Pizzas are insanely good, especially when shared over drinks. Their wings are one of my favorites in the city—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. And if you’re just in the mood to snack, the Truffle Fries and Nachos are always crowd-pleasers.nnDrinks? Covered. With 20 beers on tap, craft and classics alike, there’s something for everyone. And their cocktails? Dangerously good. The Village Mule and Old Fashioned are my personal go-tos, and their Frozen Margaritas in the summer? Game changer.nnThe service is another standout—always fast, friendly, and genuinely awesome people. Even when it’s packed which it often is, you feel taken care of without ever being rushed.nnWhether it’s for game night, a casual date, or just catching up with friends, The Village Taphouse has become a staple for a reason. Great food, great drinks, and even better vibes.nnMassive shoutout to the entire team for keeping the energy high and the experience consistently top-notch.nn
this is a 9 years old kid review We'll say that the food was terrible it was night and we went to this restaurant which looked pretty fancy but we ordered a pizza it was absolutely dry and barely any tomato sauce so we got something else we got noodles it was too spicy so we ordered some karian chicken it was spicy Wich I liked but it was so plaine and hard!! And then we ordered potato skin and that was absolutely disgusting it was soo dry• but I have to say the customer service was great we had a really good waiter he was sooooo funny and in a good mood he had a smile and he was ready to serve us.
Pizza !! The whole family went for the amazing pizzas, which did not disappoint! Thin crust which had a good chew on the end plus each were loaded with toppings including quality cheese. There is a large beer selection as well as cocktail, in which I enjoyed both a Caesar plus a few pilsners. THE NOTORIOUS pizza was heavily topped with intense meats including loads of bacon! Great family meal, lots of sports up on the TVs, excellent service!
