The best dining experience!nWe were a large party and the dining experience here at Earls Kitchen + Bar was by far the best. The atmosphere here was upbeat and welcoming. The service was amazing our waiters were so kind and professional, thank you to Sarah & Farryn for serving us. I definitely recommend coming here with friends and family for a nice meal. Great customer service 10/10
Visited this Earls with my mom and brother for a little pre birthday celebration. The location on ambleside is awesome and the restaurant is very bright and airy with expansive windows both on the restaurant and the lounge side. The lounge side seems more happening and we got a table there. Service was fast a great and very attentive. We have the three cheese spinach dip that came with toasted bread slices. Very yummy and different than what I expected. I had an spero spritz that was well prepared and served in an aperol glass. For dinner I got their sushi and steak combo. The steak was a bit tough even at medium rare but the sauce was nice and had a kick to it. The sushi roll that came with it was just ok. Nothing to write home about. We also had the truffle fries that was very tasty. My mom had the chicken Caesar salad and my brother ordered the deluxe burger that he really enjoyed.
We had a reservation for five people at 6:30 PM tonight at Earl’s Kitchen + Bar in West Vancouver to celebrate our friend’s 25th wedding anniversary, which we noted when booking online. However, upon arrival at 6:30 PM, we had to wait 15 minutes before being seated, despite a crowded reception area with many others waiting for tables.nnOnce at our table, we placed our orders with our server, who was friendly and pleasant. However, when our meals arrived, only four of us were served initially, while the fifth person had to wait several minutes for their dish. I ordered a Caesar salad with blackened chicken, which tasted good, but I noticed some of the lettuce was discolored.nnAfter dinner, we ordered dessert, coffee, and tea. Since we had mentioned the anniversary in our reservation, we expected the staff to acknowledge it, but it was clear they were unaware. Additionally, the desserts were not served all at once—one arrived with coffee and tea, while the rest took several more minutes, causing our coffee to go cold.nnOverall, we were disappointed with the delays and the lack of attention to detail that would have made the experience smoother and more enjoyable.
It was my family’s first time in Vancouver and our first time in West Vancouver, and Noah made our experience at Earl’s unforgettable! He went above and beyond, truly impressing us with his fluent Chinese conversational skills and amazing service. All the food was also very enjoyable, and half-off Prosecco was such a steal Thank you Noah!!
Sucks how the service isn't great when you sit at the bar but are paying the same price.nnWhen we got seated we weren't offered menus, didn't get the specials explained let alone a proper greeting. There were two cups with water from the previous person and the bartender tended to pour my water in the same cup after I had to ask for some...nnWhen we asked for menus, not sure why we aren't being offered them, we asked for the happy hour ones and he said it starts at 2pm. Funny thing, it was 2:12pm lol not sure if he was hungover, stoned or just truly flustered for having two people sitting at the bar.nnThe food was on point as usual but no quality check, no side plates, no napkins... It's interesting how one person who doesn't care or management that aren't acknowledging this, could really ruin your experience at a restaurant.nnThe view was beautiful but I got tired of looking at it since we had empty plates and drinks with no acknowledgement that we are clearly done wanting the bill.nnThe bartender would disappear and the waitresses were making their own drinks. I enjoy sitting at a bar but definitely won't be back to this one.
