Awesome pizza, some locals told us it was best in the city. It was really good, thin crust. We had the meat lovers and chicken bacon ranch pizza and the daily special poutine between 6 people and it was the perfect amount of food. Would recommend
I love this casual, skier-friendly pub! Fun, bright, cheery atmosphere and good menu.nPerfect spot for some apres-ski eats and bevvies.nnStaff are very friendly and personable.nnIdiots welcome! nnNote: There are no pool tables
We tried Pizzas and drinks and both are on point, with a wide selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits. Whether you’re there for a casual day/night out or a special occasion, The Village Idiot always delivers.nHighly recommend!
Loved by LocalsnnWhen multiple ski bums at Revelstoke Mountain Resort tell you to check out a place, you listen. That’s how we found ourselves at The Village Idiot Bar & Grill, a spot so beloved by locals that will make you feel like family if you haven’t been there. Rumor has it they serve the best pizza in town, but in true après-ski fashion, our group immediately abandoned that recommendation for burgers and deep-fried glory.nnWe started with a half order of nachos because a full order might require a separate ski lift and Idiot Sticks, which are essentially crispy, cheesy breadsticks perfect for pre-meal carb-loading. Both were dangerously filling, but we powered through—because ski legs deserve a reward.nnDespite the pizza hype, my friends all went rogue and ordered burgers. Not a single complaint was heard, and even the house-made veggie burger earned an enthusiastic two thumbs up—high praise from a group that usually treats vegetables like an obstacle course.nnAs for me, I went all in on the chimichanga, a behemoth stuffed with pulled pork, rice, and beans, then smothered in their toasted tomato sauce. It was massive. It was glorious. And it was impressively well-executed, proving that The Village Idiot knows their way around more than just bar food.nnPro tip: Get there early. By 7 PM on a Monday, the place was packed—because skiers and locals know where the good food is. If you’re looking for a great meal with a lively atmosphere, this is your spot. Just don’t be the idiot who shows up late.
Food was excellent and so was the service! Portions are a good size. A bit pricey but prices were comparable to the norm today. Decor was creative :. I’d definitely recommend!
