This is a super cute and convenient bake and coffee shop. The staff are friendly and welcoming as well. The drip coffee and latte was pretty decent. Their bacon, lettuce, and tomato BLT was really good. The bread was baked and toasted perfectly. Next time, we’ll definitely try their other baked goods!
Simple straightforward and high quality Java service. Everytime I visit Banff this is my coffee pit stop in town on our strolls. I can't complain about any of their high quality goods or the espresso bevvies served hot. The place is also modern and clean. I read a number of one star reviews that think the service is not friendly. I have to admit that they're not the most lively baristas in the world but I come here for in and out fast service of good coffee. And they are a no nonsense top quality establishment.
Super delicious vegan chocolate cookies! Wish we would have tried one of the vegan sandwiches. Lots of loaves of bread, some crescents, some jams. Nice staff. Not too busy. Would definitely pop by again in the future. Nice ambiance inside as well.
I did a quick stop to enquire about one of their items and the service I got was great even though I ended up not ordering anything. The aesthetics of the store is lovely and the plants I’m definitely getting a baked good on my next visit
Best espresso and baked goods in Banff and probably all of Alberta. There's an outlet to sit and do work. Exceptional service. Forget Starbucks, this is where your coffee should be from.
While visiting Banff, we visited this shop twice and it was incredible. We might not have popped in, but we ate at a local restaurant that served their bread, and we liked it so much that we decided to check out this bakery for breakfast, as it was near our hotel. We split a sausage and potato roll, which was delicious. Another bakery customer suggested that we try the chocolate and custard danish because she had just had one and loved it - we took her word for it, and she was right! I even got another one on a different day because I wanted another. I'm back at home two provinces away, and I already miss that amazing, chewy, flaky pastry.
Love the clean and quint vibe of the newer desaturated colors and black trim look of this strip. Uprising bakeshop and espresso was a great pick me up in the morning where they also have plenty of delectable pastries from Savory to sweet! Had an iced americano and it was super delicious. Also got to sit in the little umbrella’d area just outside the shop to enjoy my coffee drink! Would come again!!!
Exactly what we were needing in Banff! A modern bakery on Banff Ave with easy to grab takeaway brekky, lunch or snack options as well as coffee/tea options. Simple yet modern design inside and the pastries, sandwiches and breads are beautifully presented. The cinnamon bun was a definite highlight! I’d definitely recommend stopping by for a couple of goodies then head down to the park to enjoy your snacks surrounded by the mountains. Expect a line as it’s just opened but we only waited for about 5 mins before entering at 11am on a Saturday morning which was quicker than we expected! A little pricey but understandable seeing as it’s a craft bakery in an incredible location on Banff Avenue. Definitely excited to stop by again soon!
Ordered Chai Tea Latte. It was really good. The service was pleasant too. Surely recommended.
Small cafe-bakery. Coffee was ok, not the greatest. Food was delicious and fairly priced. However, I’d recommend to take out your drinks and food, instead of staying inside. The smell of burnt bread or grill makes it unpleasant. I had to go outside a few times to breath a fresh air. Not sure if it was one time off, or it is due to poor air conditioning.
