The Thirsty Scholar

DJ'd a birthday party upstairs at Thirsty Scholar. Sheena took really good care of the group. Staff were willing to go the extra mile to make things work. Everyone from the party was very happy and had lots of fun. If you're ever looking to book a private event for any occasion, I would recommend the Thirsty Scholar. Thank you to Sheena and the team for making the event a great success!

I have always enjoyed the atmosphere at this place, the wood on the walls and posters make this pub feel great. Good drinks and food, I enjoy their house craft beer. It's losing a star because of service, the waitresses aren't overly friendly. I like that the management is quite involved and will go on the house Speaker telling about specials.

They have really good food and I really enjoy the atmosphere there. Our group are (were) pretty much regulars there. The waitress with the long blonde hair is the best and we always try to sit in her section. Went there today and had the absolute worst service ever. The waitress only came to our table when we waved her down which was hard to do because she was at the bar staring at her phone the whole time we were there. They ran out of coke and so my friend ordered a sprite instead and she got charged for two pops. She also never cleared empty glasses or plates off our table and we ended up with like 12 glasses on the table and a stack of plates. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be returning due to the absolute horrendous service we received which is really too bad because we like the place.

The guy who fills the pitcher treated me like I was doing him a favor.. and third time they give me the wrong beer!! Cheap beer but bad service

A great place to meet up for a meal, drinks, & a good time! Love the inventive drinks menu!
