Mano's Restaurant & Lounge

I enjoyed the atmosphere, as always. 8th street is a lovely reprieve. Candace was our server, she was really on point. She had this look about her that insisted a sense of humbleness accompanied by the firm assurance indicative of the nature of hospitality of the past. No room for antics. Overall, I enjoyed the popularity of the place. Yet the window seats have the glass dividers that seemed s bit Covid Era related. Perhaps a slight tint design could drastically send a less industrial imposition.

The server we had was named Leena and she was a gem of a server and person she is very personable likeable and very caring. We really enjoyed our visit with her and she took the time to listen to some of the struggles that we’re having right now and gave great advice and my four girls loved her including my husband and I will definitely be back and hopefully Lena will be working. The food was phenomenal. Top notch as always ambiance was perfect. We had a lot of privacy. It was quiet. It was a great place to have Hannah‘s 21st birthday and send off to Morgan wallen in Minneapolis, thank you for such a great meal and environment!

Mandy was an incredible server- came and checked on us often. Haven’t been to Manos in a few years , and we will be back soon! Our kids loved it as well. Food, drinks - top notch. We had Lamb chops, ribs , kids had Filet.

Mano’s on 8th offers a comfortable neighbourhood dining experience, and the lamb chops stood out. They were well cooked with a nice char, tender inside, and nicely seasoned. The portion was satisfying and fit the overall relaxed feel of the restaurant. A solid choice if you’re in the area and craving lamb done right.

My husband, sister, sister in law, brother and 2 kids all came here for lunch on Friday June 5 for my brothers birthday, my sister in law was also due to have her baby any day so we knew it would be our last outing for awhile. we pulled my brother and husband away from work to come for lunch with us and celebrate. It was busy but the second patio was completely empty. We waited for a table to be made up which is understandable considering it was busy but that also took about 20 minutes, we’re then brought to our table and then sat for another 20 mins waiting for a menu/water and someone to acknowledge us. each person we spoke with asked if we were there for anything special to which we told them it was his birthday. We ended up looking up the menu on our phones as no one ever brought one. He was not offered a birthday desert and we also were not offered my child’s cookie that was supposed to come with his kids meal. We didn’t bother asking for my brothers dessert as they needed to get back to work and I asked for the cookie to go for my child which was very dry and got thrown out By the time we got out of there we had been there for an hour and 20 mins and it only took us about 15 mins to eat. Our kids were very grumpy after waiting and we ate as fast as we could. I recommended this restaurant to my brother as we always have a great experience and lunch is always fast but he was not impressed with the service. The food was delicious as usual and he enjoyed the souvlaki meal that I recommended which definitely saved the whole experience but I will have a hard time convincing them to go back just because of the service alone. No one bothered to ask us how our meals were or acknowledge us when we were walking out either.
