I came on a Thursday night around 8PM. I put myself into the waitlist, but it was empty. I was able to get seated quickly. My server was nice and quick to refill our waters. We ordered the pretzel for appetizer. It was delicious. I made my own pizza and filled out the information. It was bigger than I expected. We also got a burger. I would say I LIKE this place. It’s not a “oh my gosh come!” Like this place was really good. Very clean, nice staff. Typical food. Not in love. The prices were reasonable. I was expecting to spend $50 and I ended up spending around $41 for two people.
Delicious! We had the Calamari, which was delicious although maybe had more breading on it than necessary I could have had more on the plate too. Then I ordered the Meatloaf and that was a good portion size and delicious! They were also very helpful in accomodating my son's allergies. Great experience!
Great food & service! Only thing I didn't like, was how long it took for our food to come to us! We got there & ordered when it was NOT real busy. As we waited, it became busier & busier. However..that shouldn't have been a factor for such a long wait time 35 - 40 for our food to be served. Plus I asked about becoming a member of the "Tavern Beer Club" for discounted beers/drinks. Our Server, who was really good & nice; skipped right over explaining & helping with the whole deal. For those TWO reasons..I cannot & will not give 5 stars"love it". I DID like the place; however I had expected to love it. Close..but not quite!
Before writing this review. I visited a total of 5 times. The food is great overall. Although some items aren't as great, the selections are a considerable amount. The value over the quality is outstanding. The service can be a hit or miss. I noticed the times I did go, I received the younger servers. Age doesn't define how good or bad a service will be. Sadly, experience does. That being said, I believe I received some who are still starting out as a server. Regardless, I didn't take that into consideration to how good the service was. When I did receive the more experience servers, the serviced change.. for the worse. But I say that with great exaggeration. Reason being, the less experienced servers were more attentive. But the service was good overall. The atmosphere kept changing each time I went. Depending on the day, it was either energetic, or relaxed. The week days were more energetic. The weekends tended to be more relaxed. Everyone always seems to have a great time. This place is great for dates, meetings, or catching up with people. I highly don't recommend coming here if you don't want to have a great time
Beautiful setting. The he all the staff here made sure I was seen even with no reservations. The food is amazing. I had shrimp and some mashed potatoes. I love the shrimp appetizer.Recommended dishesChicken Wild Rice Soup
I have had this place a few times. I love their cheese curds but this is the 3rd time I have placed a to-go order and had to wait 30 minutes for something that takes 5 minutes in the fryer. I get waiting 15 mins or so.... But. Half hour??? And you can tell they were sitting in the kitchen window even though they were asked about..... Not even edible..... The cheese is hard and not melted. Just absolutely disgusting. I was a server so I usually try not to complain but knowing they were done for awhile after waiting forever would have been nice to ask if we wanted them remade or a refund?
Upscale bar food with competent and friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor dining to accommodate COVID safety.
Plenty of great seating options. The booths were good sized. I love the order forms at the table for the burgers. It seems to ensure it is done exactly as you want it. I always have such great and efficient service.Food: 5/5
We used to go her all the time as a young couple and eat at the bar, now we brought our two kids to join in the fun. They had nice booths and hi sh it’s for the kids. Clean bathrooms. We knew we liked the food so we got some appetizers to share and our 3 year old was sooo excited to have mini burgers! Are two, brought home two for lunch the next day! Win win! Also he loved the superhero cups for kids drinks!
My daughter and I went here heard that they had good pizza and food well let me tell you that wasn't the case I ordered a pizza built it myself and the bang bang shrimp and I asked for them to be fried hard and they wasn't so first thing wrong and then my daughter ordered her a burger and fries so they brought out my shrimp first bc I guess it was a appetizer but we wanted all are food at one time that wasn't the case we waited for the burger and pizza for the longest to the point we were ready to go at this point still sitting there a guy by pass and ask if we were waiting for pizza and then he came back out and realized that we were also waiting on my daughter burger and we told him yes and to just pack it up to go at this point I'm upset bc the food isn't hot bc it was sitting under the so call keep the food semi hot this was a disappointing experience and I should not be the one to satisfied the customer which was me
