Yummy food and a great dining experience! I dined here with my family and we had a wonderful time. The prices are reasonable and the food is authentic.. The pav bhaji is the best I have had in Toronto.. The service was quick and warm too.. Must visit if you want to indulge in some tasty indian food

My girlfriend and I just dined in to The Tale and we had an amazing experience. This restaurant is true to Indian flavours. Today we had kadai soya, butter soya, dal makhni and Amritsari Kulcha. I’ve had Indian food from many places across this province but nothing hit home like The Tale. I can tell the chef takes pride in what he puts on the plate. As an Amritsari and a foodie, the Amritsari kulcha was very nostalgic to what i used to have back home during my college days. Oh and the restaurant is totally veg, which always gets bonus points on my scale. Highly recommend :

Had Samosa Channa, Channa Bhatoora and Amritsari Kulcha baked and hence healthier option I thought for the price the quantity would be small, but boy was I surprised. We were unable to finish the 3 dishes between 2 of us. Food was fresh and delicious. The chef and servers were friendly and very pleasant. Loved the ambience. Only don’t understand how you have a bar and veg. I am sure they would do even better if they added a couple of non veg items. . Will definitely go back for veg food. Highly recommended if you’re craving home cooked food.

They got it!!! Their Burger just reminds you of Indian style burger. The Bun is so soft and one bite took me back to Delhi lol. Super tasty. Have had other indian style regional style burgers but they are just spice and heartburn..No Flavour or taste. and their Pav Bhaji is just lip smackingly awesome!! Havent tasted any Pav Bhaji like theirs here. Soft buns here too..butter is just like back home. Hope they keep the taste consistent. Full Five stars

We ordered few dishes for takeout. I personally liked Rajma and chole. Bhature weren’t the traditional way but overall experience wasn’t bad. There is still room for the improvement ..

New Indian place on the lakeshore ! Great naan bread! Great curries! Great atmosphere!.....they have a cute little bar and they sell cocktails and they have beers on tap, decently priced as well; I got the lunch special with mushroom and paneer curry. Comes with rice...

Discovered this place by accident with my friend one fine afternoon. Ordered some food and cocktails. Must say, they were all tasty. The quality of customer service provided was great.

An amazing place with Indian Cuisine. Pocket friendly and they recently started with Hakka Noodles which were yummylicious. Tried the Chana Batura which was lip smacking and stomach which is just for 12$. Took the burger combo that was Aloo Tikki Veggie Burger with a pop amd fries on side which was too amazing to the pallet. Also took Vada Pav which were also good and crave filling. Overall always an amazing experience with The Tale. Located at Lakeshore Blvd West opposite of No frills & LCBO. Easily accessible by TTC and Miway. And ample parking space available. Staff is also very friendly and ambience is amazing for a hangout or a date. Food 5/5 Ambience 5/5 Staff 5/5

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, cute little bar with list and wonderful cocktails. I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. I had a 3 course meal. Considering the quality, the price is extremely reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
