If you are looking for Indian street food but with a twist this is your place. They serve Indian fusion street food and it’s a gem. The ambience and service is amazing. You will find the traditional Indian dishes with a fusion twist from butter chicken bowls to Frankie’s you name it you got it. If you are around the area definitely give it a try just loved the food here and the service is super friendly
I got one of their lunch specials. It was a burrito, potato wedges and a choice of pop. The restaurant inside was very neat and clean and the washroom was clean as well. There were a lot of options to choose from. Manpreet, the lady who was behind the table was very friendly and kind. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for Indian food with a twist.
I was very impressed by the food, service and the ambiance. I really loved their samosa chaat, chicken wings, mango lassi, and the bro bowl was excellent. Not too spicy and too salty just the right touch of spices. So next time you go to Etobicoke then do check them out. I still have more to try. Can’t wait to go back.Recommended dishesButter Chicken Frankie Roll, Butter Chicken Bowl, Channa Samosa, Channa Masala Bowl, Samosa, Mango Lassi, Bro Bowl with Bombay Fish, Spicy Potatoes, Butter Chicken, Naan, Sauce
Was worried about the parking situation in the area, but I found it very easy to find parking. It's also very convenient for others coming by TTC as it's across the Islington Subway Station. And now for the restaurant: • Small place with limited seating, but great decor and aesthetically pleasing. • there's a hand washing station as well so you don't need to go to the washroom at the back to wash your hands • they're available on apps like Ritual and Uber • great selection of items and appetizers, from the Bombay Frankie's to their bowls, burgers, chaats and more • Great selection of drinks and desserts as well Food: • I really enjoyed their fish originally had it as an appetizer then decided to get it as the protein on the main item as it was really good and well seasoned. • I loved that their bhel puri and samosa chaat was not too spicy actually not spicy at all, just the right amount of flavor • Mango Lassi tasted a bit watery but it was ok • Their kashmiri rose tea was good • Samosas were very filling The appetizers were a generous portion and super filling. The bowl also had lots of toppings and I like how you can select what you want + 2 sauces instead of one.
The bowl of deliciousness was sufficient for my partner and me!! A win-win for all : I got the butter chicken as protein and choose spicy potatoes and basmati rice for the base. There are a variety of options for toppings and sauces - all of which are amazing. The girl who fixed my order was very patient and gave her suggestions. She was right that the xxx spicy sauce isn't really that spicy. When we mixed it all in, it felt like we were eating biryani which is our favorite. Getting the lassi was a nice add on. Can't wait to come back. The restaurant is conveniently located close to Islington station. Just a 3 min walk which is pretty great to grab a quick bite. Wishing them much success and hope they open more branches in Toronto!
We got their Fish Pakora, Frankie Roll w/ Butter Chicken, Chaana Samosa, and Bro Bowl w/ Tandoori Chicken. Fish Pakora was crispy, the Fish was flakey but a bit dry, the Mayo and Coleslaw it came with was perfect to dip in though! Frankie Roll was AMAZING, their Naan was made to order, ready within a minute, it was so soft, pillowy, Butter Chicken was creamy, flavourful, along with their Wu-Tangy Mayo, Scorpion Sauce and West Coast Coriander, so good! Chaana Samosa was a chopped Samosa topped with Channa Masala, Veggies, absolutely loved the flavour and texture! Bro Bowl came in HUGE portion, we got Tandoori Chicken, Spicy Potatoes on a bed of Basmati Rice, topped with Corn, Coleslaw, Carrots, Scorpian Sauce and West Coast Coriander, gosh that was INSANELY good!
Omg this place is a must try! Cute little Indian restaurant located at Islington and Bloor. It was recommended by a friend, so i had to try it! The butter sauce is completely different and just AMAZING! I tried the Butter Paneer Frankie roll and OMG the NAAN WAS MADE FRESH IN FRONT OF ME!!! Ive never seen this before! The chilli scorpion wing have just the right amount of spice kick to them! Amazing customer service, Diva was very helpful and had a lot patience with me picking my food! Overall the restaurant is very clean, including the washroom! Love the interior design! MUST TRY!!
I visited Spicebros recently and loved their modern twist to the taste of Indian cuisine! Their scrumptious Frankie Rolls use freshly made garlicky naan breads with your choice of meat/veggies and signature sauces! The Bro Bowls are insanely good. We tried the Tandoori Chicken bowl served with Dream Bean Salad, Basmati Rice. Also, I would recommend that you don't leave without trying their Mango Lassi!! Highly recommended :
Amazing spot! Their crunchy bro burger is top notch! Owner went above and beyond in providing excellent service, and also offered complimentary lassi! Pricing is well beyond reasonable. Bro bowl is highly recommended as well.
Flavourful Indian food that isn't cheap but healthy portions and well worth the money. The woman at the counter was also very friendly and helpful with recommendations for a first time customer. Enjoyed having lunch on the picnic table outside their establishment on Bloor Street and plan to go back. Vegetarian options: Their ability to customize allows for various vegetarian options. Parking: Street parking is available.
