Recommended by lodge front desk and it is just around the corner. Breakfast with the view of The Rocky Mountains, this is the experience you probably don’t have in daily life. Such a peaceful and beautiful view. It will be imprinted in your heart and memory with your loved ones. Food is good and the service is prompt. Canadians are much nicer than their southern neighbor for sure. The air is sweeter as well.
Delicious all day breakfast with large selection. Breakfast burritos and quesadillas were great. Cold brew coffee and sweet ‘magic bars’ were really tasty. Nice outside eating area, friendly staff. Only downside is that all meals were served in cardboard containers that you recycle after your meal seems wasteful instead washing and reusing plate plus food usually tastes better on a real plate instead of cardboard
It is a local place and I wanted to recall a good experience I had before the covid era. So, I returned... and left with a bit of disappointment. I believe the way the store was organized to process the order and service was nicely done. The store owner surely considered safety of people. For that, I give a big applause. But serving food in a take-out container as shown in the photo made me wonder if I came out for camping or dining-in. I wonder if it was a cost saving measure or staffing issue. Regardless, in comparison, for the price they were charging, and my experience in other breakfast places in Canmore, this arrangement fell shorter than my expectations. The food... This is a bit of question mark for me. The sausage was tasteless, the bread felt dry and the potatoes were one of the lower qualities I tasted in years. The only thing I can say I enjoyed was the eggs. What happened? I really wanted to leave a great review in support of the local biz, but I believe they need to do better than how they are doing now. If I am putting too harsh opinions, I do apologize to the store owner and the staff, but in all fairness, I had to put my honest experience. ....... in addition... Regarding asking to remake the meal? Perhaps I should have. Unfortunately, all I saw was less attentive staff, perhaps the busy kitchen situation. I did not feel comfortable adding any more requests to that. However, I surely will ask it to remake the food next time if I feel it was not done adequately.
I love this little spot in Canmore, locally owned and operated which is always a plus. Great food and cozy diner style atmosphere. We had the Mexican egg dish that was very filling and tasty. Lovely lattes and you really can’t beat the mountain views. Service is fast and friendly, highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
This café is located on the other side of the town in a quiet neighborhood. Great for caffeinated beverages but average for breakfast. It offers cozy indoor seating, or spacious outdoor patio seating. Check out the pictures associated with this review.
Small space, not extraordinarily comfortable, but cute. Friendly staff. I had the apple cider, chicken quesadilla, and a chocolate chip cookie. Wasn’t a huge fan of the cookie. The apple cider was adequate, and the chicken quesadilla was very good. My partner had a breakfast meal and seemed to enjoy it.
Wow! Such a great breakfast spot. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food was outstanding and the views are incredible. Definitely worth stopping in!! I love huervos rancheros and this one was one of my most favorite ever!!
Very simply place. Suitable for people with allergies. I'm allergic to gluten, egg and dairy, so breakfast is usually very difficult to find suitable places to eat. They accommodated with sausage, hashbrowns, and guacamole and it was quite filling.. They didn't have gluten free toast, just tortilla, so I could've tried to make a wrap. Cute table placards for the servers. Narrow order/ walk up line. Very small space, but love the sun shining through! Dietary restrictions: suitable for gluten, egg, dairy allergies.
Great food with a spectacular view. Stopped at The Summit Cafe for breakfast on our way to Banff. The food was amazing and the view was out of this world.
The summit club sandwich was amazing. A very nice crunch with a great aftertaste. I wouldn't say the same about other food that is served here. My Mexi plate lacked flavor and could not finish it. The view is amazing. You can see the three sisters right from thr window.
