Very beautiful, tons of seating. We arrived right at open on a Thursday and it was filling up when we were leaving. 4 of their own beers when we stopped. I had a guest tap. We had appetizers which were all good. My friends had flights of the house beers which they rated a 3 out of 5. Good service with a smile. Will definitely stop again.
Busy place, a ton of servers! Nice view of lake, fast service even though it was busy. Past 6PM, there is a wait. Beer selection is ok. Food is better. Cheese curds were very good.
Great, food, great view. After dinner great music and dancing w/JR Clark band , loved it stayed until the end.
We were seated right way, great, but after 10 minutes the hostess came to ask if we had been helped and we hadn't. Someone came and took our drink orders and then our waitress finally came. Said she works kitchen and server and didn't know she was assigned a table. We never saw her again. Our food was brought but we never recieved silverware, we had to get it from another table. The orange slice in our beer was disgusting. Our 14 hour brisket sandwich was grey and consistency of beef jerky. Pretzle bites were burnt and the beer cheese had been sitting out too long that the top had harden overed and tasted like cheese wiz. Cheese curds were burnt but frozen. We ordered fish tacos with locally caught fish, when we asked what fish, we were told Pollock which is North Pacific Ocean fish. Not to mention the misspellings on the menus, live music and radio going at the same time, couldn't understand a thing. Very disappointing visit over all.
Great ambiance and excellent food. The fish grouper tacos were fantastic. The beer options were not to my particular liking but plenty of specialty drinks if you can't find one you enjoy.
I hate giving bad reviews when everyone is very friendly and they are trying their best, but they were really over their heads when we came. They had all seating open, but only a couple of wait staff, who looked stressed beyond belief. It took a long time even to have our drink orders put in. The appetizer we ordered never did come, even though the waitress said she was making sure it would three times. We eventually just asked for it to be removed from the bill since we were done with the rest of our food. We had to eat for about 15 minutes with just our hands because there was no silverware and nobody had come back with any we asked both the guy who brought out the food and our waitress. We enjoyed being in the fresh air just inside the big doors, but the wind should blow everything around and the setting sun was really intense. Like I said though, everyone was friendly and that says a lot because I'm not sure I would be as friendly if I were as overwhelmed as they were. The owners should consider closing off dining areas to account for the limitations of the staff. People would rather be told there's a wait instead of getting poor, slow service. Plus size: the spicy body Marys are to die for
Dinner came no silverware. Our waitress was busy. I asked the Two girls with attitudes at front desk that we needed 4 sets of silverware. Sat down and she came back and said we had to ask our waitress. Unreal. Those girls needed a good ole fashion you know what. Had the ribs that if I remember said slow cooked for 72 hours. I had to work to get the meat off the bones. They were busy but those two front end people need to go. If the owner reads this it was the night you had the band from the TV show.
The service was great and the food was good....ribs were slightly overcooked but the view of Round lake is fantastic. Only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because my little 4 oz mixed drink costed $15! Prices were not on the menu. I would pass on the cocktails on my next visit.
Our waitress was awesome. But that's it. Had a family reunion and the manager wouldn't let us move the tables together "because they're heavy," only they are not, and it wouldn't have impeded egress or the waitresses either. And she was a bxxch about it too. And then there's the food. I had the brisket sandwich, every other bite was nothing but fat. The "pitmaster" ribs weren't all that either. Most of the people in our party were also disappointed in their food. Nothing about this place justifies the cost. It sucked and we will never go back.
The design and location is amazing!!! I loved that they reused the bowling lanes for the tables. Respect! The glazed brussel sprouts were literally the best brussel sprouts I’ve ever had in my life. Food was quick and drinks were primo. I noticed the servers being mentioned a lot and I get it. It’s just a new assuming, and younger staff from what I could tell. A great leader who has been in the industry for a while coming to help would be beneficial for everyone. Someone over seeing things daily. It would take just one or two pro’s. Just need to say things like, silverware is here, salt and pepper are here, and I’ll be back shortly... Minor improvement on communication and you’d be golden. Still, food was . Thank you!!!
