Story

The Stock Pot Cafe is a locally owned Kamloops restaurant that takes pride in home cooked meals.

Two soups are prepared each weekday morning and frozen soups are available to take home. Frozen lasagna, cabbage rolls, chicken pot pie, beef shepherd's pie, turkey shepherd's pie, and chili are also available.

We have a fresh salad bar weekdays from
11 am until 2 pm featuring our own
pickled beets and mushrooms and honey dill salad dressing.

We offer daily breakfast and lunch specials with Hot Buffet Friday's 11 am till 2 pm from September till June.

Yummy yummy yummy I have good food in my tummy!! A wonderful little gem that you must check out. Friendly service, delicious food and so much more. They are also great local sponsors and have sponsored local theatre companies and much more. I highly recommend going to this place and giving it a try!!!

The food is much better than the generic industrial-park diner appearance would lead to believe. Large portions, homemade hash-browns, and the most extensive Eggs Benedict menu in town make it worth a breakfast visit; the breakfast burritos are great too. Soup is made fresh daily, and previous day's soups may be purchased frozen for takeout. Cash, debit or credit (no Amex).

Good breakfast and lunch options, including a couple of soup options. The beef dip is quite tasty, a friend always orders this for her lunch here. Portions are large but not ridiculous. Friendly and fairly quick table service. Plenty of parking in the weekends, might be a bit tighter during the week given the number of businesses around.

Tasty, well made, nutritious food, mediocre staff, an odd restaurant layout, and decent prices for what you get await you at The Stock Pot Cafe. Our waitress wasn't friendly. She wasn't rude, but she shouldn't be a server if she can't smile or at least not sound like she's upset with you for being there. The table wasn't properly cleaned. There were sticky spots. The washroom area is confusing and a sign reading "fire exit do not open" is on the door to the dining area. Decades old curtains hang over the windows. But when the food came I enjoyed a well made meal. The special of the day was a roast-beef sandwich. The bun was extremely fresh, and the beef was a good cut. The accompanying fries were very tasty but could use more salt. The only reason The Stock Pot Cafe deserves a 4 star rating is because of the great food. The waitress and restaurant could use a little updating.
