There was a long line when we got there father's day. But the wait was so worth it. Every single thing on our plate tasted fresh and delicious! Love love love their seafood chowder! Our server was also very pleasant. We'll definitely be back to try other stuff in their menu.
We were enjoying the sun at parlee beach and lunch had approached quickly. We found this restaurant near by. It cost $3 to park in the location of this restaurant. The food was great! we ordered the tuna poke, fish tacos and fish and chips. We really enjoyed the fish and chips. The fish was flaky and the batter was so crisp. The fish tacos were nice as well. The tuna poke was missing many ingredients including the crunch. The dressing really didn’t pair well with the rest of the ingredients. I wouldn’t recommend the tuna poke. The the fish and chips and fish tacos were A+ Best place for an afternoon bite
Lovely wife Pat and I ate here for the first time this past hot July day. Both of us enjoyed the visuals within and around this idealy situated restaurant. Within moments we were offered seating to which we asked for a table outside but in the shade. The attendant obliged the two of us by letting us know she'd have to go out and clear a table recently vacated. Moments later we were seated in an ideal location, right next to the lighthouse but with visuals to the wharf, bay and the street to/from the adjacent parking lot. Always seemed to be something to watch. We thought it odd that a trio of elder gentlemen went swimming right in an area where a sign warns of boat traffic see attached photos. Happily all three made it back to the warf safely. Guessing this is something all good water voyagers watch out for. Within moments of being seated, our waitress came and took our order for drinks. Shortly after returning with said drinks she kindly took our orders. In no rush we did not mind the wait for our food, especially realizing this is not a fast food outlet where items simply sit under a heating lamp. Both of us enjoyed our meal. Pat had the Shrimp Pesto Linguine while I had the Grilled Chicken Club. Waitress did come back to check on us and neither of us had any complaints. We both look forward to returning here in future.
Fantastic seafood! As we are from Ontario, this place was amazing. The service was great and the fish was so fresh. Huge portions and love the Pier its beautiful! You really need to eat here! It's an experience!
Best value seafood near Shediac. You can relax before or after dinner or lunch at the port. Quite windy there. You have to pay a few dollars for the parking flat fee.
I ordered the lobster dinner. It was 1.5lbs with Caesar salad. For me, it was serviced cold which wasn’t to my liking. Maybe - it does come down to preference but all the lobster dinners I tried at PEI was steamed and warm. When served cold it just doesn’t have the same taste and texture when warm. Apparently, in the Maritimes this is how it’s eaten. The salad was okay at best as seemed dry and lacked any dressing. Gotta admit I was disappointed in comparison to all the lobster dinners I’ve eaten. Suggestion: BEFORE you order it should either says on the menu served cold or waitress should mention this. Not after the fact you’ve placed your order.
Had delicious clams, to die for muscles, fantastic fish tacos and fabulous fish & chips. Excellent service at an awsome & most scenic location.
Ceasar salad with shrimp was amazing and tasted super fresh! Staff were super friendly and it was wicked to eat right near the coast. Would highly recommend if you want to eat at a place with some atmosphere.
The only worth while restaurant to vist on the wharf, good lobster, great shrimp, excellent pasta, the chef joined us for a drink after hrs as well. Special thanks to our waitresses Alex, can't rember the other two girls name but big shout out to the little brunette with the cat who's going to university to become a teacher and the taller waitresses with 13 tattoos. Super fun place to eat and have a drink, ocean view, this restaurant has excellent customer service as well !! You are on the east cost, if you are use to the Hussel and bussel of the big city ,this place is a nice break, also, happy hr is from 3-4 as well!!! Tu es le plus bel être de l'univers ; Captian Dan's has a super cool statue out front , but awfull customer service ,20 + min wait following a 25 min wait to get a drink during happy hr is awful P.s. Last night in town after an hr wait as a tour bus showed up... the power went out as we were next in line, everyone staryed to leave the sand bar, super nice teacher in training let us come in and have a drink even tho everything was down, the entire staff came together to start writing recipes the old fashion way, was really good to see a bunch of young workers come together and tackle the problem head on . 12/10! The owner has hired some smart quick thinking staff. bravo!
It was a beautiful day and a beautiful part of New Brunswick. Again greeted by wonderful friendly people. Stuff was great it's a busy place and the staff does well trying their best a handle of busy place. The food was good I enjoyed the fishing chips I had it was probably the best breaded fish that I've had so far. Unfortunately with a busy place sometimes things run short we didn't get a great variety of beer or if a beer or anything else because they were sold out. Would I return yeah I would return. The people from New Brunswick love it there I can definitely say I agree.
