Don't hesitate go to The Sand Bar! It was great! Our bartender Julie was so cool, super kind, great personality    We really enjoyed chatting with her! The food was was delicious! Fish Fry was better than most spots in Milwaukee  where we're from Anyway Go! Just go and hopefully Julie is there when you do! We also had the wings and chili cheese fries, both also tasted great!

Wow!! I don't even know where to start, EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was amazing! The bartender/cook was nothing but perfection. We had the nico burger and the tanned Italian sandwich with mini tacos to start and a side salad. I cannot wait to go back!

Kids menu for $6? Yes please. Fries were delicious, particularly the chili cheese fries. Mango cart on draft for the Californians that know Golden Road. Bummer that the smoked wings weren’t available today.  Monday is half price wings and half price pitchers of beer.

Friendly local bar. Good prices for drinks. Regular bar food. Has a cute patio. Really enjoyed chatting with locals on the patio. Street parking is metered, but you don't have to pay after 9pm.  Update: We went for Friday Fish Fry. There were several tables of locals eating fish fry options when we arrived around 6:30. Several more tables filled around us and on the patio over the next couple of hours.  The fried shrimp basket looked good, so we both went with that. You can get the shrimp 3 different ways. We opted for coconut shrimp. It came with around 10 jumbo shrimp, fries, garlic toast and slaw for $13.99.  The slaw was basic mayo based with a hint of sweet. The garlic toast was made with texas toast. The fries were seasoned well. The Shrimp were large and butterflied with ample coconut in the crunchy batter. The dipping sauce a bit sweet/tangy, which complimented the shrimp well. It was a large portion that we could not finish. Actually, there were alot of to-go boxes requested.  A few people played bar games. A couple played a round of pool. We spent part of our time on the patio, as it was a beautiful evening. The juke box can be controlled via an app on your phone and speakers are set well to hear music outside as well. Bar staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are some of the best in the area.

I was a sous chef and have worked in the kitchen my whole life. This place has some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The food is phenomenal. The drinks also were amazing and the service was fantastic. Never got to catch the bartenders name but he was perfect. Knew when to conversant with us and when not to. I wish I could have tipped him more. Well done 10/10. Thank you!

Attentive bartender!! Noticed us instantly and got us drinks and menus quickly!! Took our food order while he was still cooking and preparing other orders!! WE DIDN'T WAIT A SECOND!! He served the food, grabbed our order and knocked that MF out of the park!!!

This place had one of the best services where they check up on you quite frequently to see if everything is good.Also ordered the chicken wings,their secret dry rub for the wings was a perfect mix of spices and the parmesan wings were finger licking good ! The 1/2 naked cheese curds were one of the best I have had in Wisconsin.

WORSE PLACE TO GO! I order wings for pick up, the owner came to me in front of the entire bar and says I’m killing his business. That my order killed him tonight, that if I wanted to come in and have 2 drinks that is ok otherwise for me to not order again! It doesnt states anywhere is dine in only with a requirement of 2 drinks. If your deal is killing your business, maybe revise your own menu. Im a local and have order in the past when were different owners. Overall very disappointed with their new owner’s customer service and food quality. Will not be back! Rather take my money to Showboat, way better treatment and food!

Great place for food and drink. Personal friendly service and wonderful atmosphere. Need to get there early as they fill up regularly.

Loved the Sandbar! We came with a big group for the Friday night fish fry. Choice of cod or lake perch or both, can’t beat it. Awesome beer selection and cocktail menu. Ask for John, he’s a great server. Perfect place for a quick drink or a full meal.
