We went there on a day when all other breakfast places were closed but they were still able to serve us in 30min wait. Which wasn’t because the line was pretty long. Everything tasted great, service was professional. If you have a bigger appetite then it’s worth ordering a few different options from the menu. E.g. my boyfriend added french toast to his eggs and bacon. Their filter coffee is great! Would definitely go again.
5 hungry boys all filled to the brim with food for a very reasonable price. Very homely atmosphere with pleasant and friendly staff. I had the Bridge Street omelette and a homemade biscuit and it was excellent. Easy to get to, right off main street with a public parking lot just across the street. I would go here again.
Don't let a little wait time to deter you! The food was generous, beautiful, and very delicious! The 2 servers working the entire cafe were so busy but very pleasant and organized and they impressed me as much as the food did! Great job ladies. Will definitely be going back again!! I got a huge chef salad and my husband got one of their breakfast plates, we both shared our meals with our little girl n she approved of both.
This place is everything a cafe should be! Very friendly staff, and the portions are generous for the money you are paying. I got the breakfast burrito with home fries pictured and easily could have taken a good chunk of it home. My friend got the cinnamon bun and fruit, the fruit was fresh and you could tell they were not skimping out. Recommend highly!
Rosie was our waitress and she was amazing.. Lobster and crab Benedict was beyond excellent. Great food, service and atmosphere. We will be back
Food was delicious The 'platter' of fruit was huge. Home made yogurt was surprisingly good also Customer service was welcoming. Cheap also 4 adult = $68
Found Riverside Cafe via GMaps. Eggs and corn beef hash was 10/10. Waitresses was busy but efficient and nice. Parking wasn’t terrible. I like this restaurant and would come back!
Worth the wait! Busy morning with a 40 minute wait, but the food was superb and the staff is very efficient. Will certainly visit again.
Riverside is our favorite place to eat in Ellsworth. Their specials are always so so good! Vegetarian and gluten free options are available and they also have a full bar if you're feeling boozy. Vegetarian options: Big fan of their vegetarian specials.
The restaurant had a great atmosphere, with friendly staff and delicious food. The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from, and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and we would definitely go back.
