Dropped by late afternoon on Sunday October 1st, 2017 when most Torontonians returned home from the weekend. Beverages and appetizer ordered. Decent selection of beer on tap. Ordered 'Irish Nachos' which was excellent. Staff friendly, and orders arrived at the table in a timely manner. The best part of the experience was sitting on the deck overlooking water and Queen's Cove Marina.

Don't bother! This place has horrible customer service. Went once for breakfast and waited an hour for our food. Tried take out with friend on the weekend. They didn't place our order only the other couple. So we had to wait and extra 20 minutes for out food. Out friend were done eating by the time ours came. No offer to take anything off the bill or even a free drink. Then there were no condiments in the bag. I think the only reason this place is opened is because there is nothing else around.

Came here with a party of six and had a rather mixed experience. The environment was lovely and the food was great. However, there was confusion on what was available for the "two can dine" deal, with the orders we placed being changed twice. Secondly, our waitress charged us $48 for 4 lbs of wings instead of $44. (The menu listed the price for 1 lb of wings as $12 and 2 lbs as $22). We thought this was unfair, but she was adamant that we specifically asked to be charged four times at the 1 lb price rather than twice at the 2 lbs price... She was unaccommodating and insisted a "few dollars" didn't matter, and that she wouldn't change the bill for us. This totally ended our time there on a bad note.

Great pub! The food is yummy and so is their drinks selections. The Queen's Quay is the closest to a British pub I have found in northern Ontario. The pub is also waterfront and next to the municipal dock. Check out their Quiz Night on Thursdays.

I'm not able to comment on if the food and the beer is any good since we disappointingly didn't get through the door. Sadly our dog wasn't welcome (not even outside on the patio) and we didn't fancy taking the waitress up on the suggestion of tying him up outside alone. This rather confused me as this pub is supposed to be a 'British' pub. My husband and I are both British (hence why we stopped here) and mistakenly made the assumption that dogs would be welcome, as they are generally are in most pubs back home and if dogs aren't welcome inside there's no question of you being allowed to sit outside with your pooch. Not at the Queen's Quay though. Dogs are certainly not welcome here. Perhaps not such a 'British' pub after all.
