A quaint little pub style bar with not much seating yet just enough it stays rather calm depending on the crowd. They have a cheap wing night that is reasonable and the wings were very good for what's around. Definitely would consider attending in the future with family and friends. The bartender was a little lax on service and had to flag him down for the bill. Could have been having a few brown pops himself but no harm no foul. Didnt have to wait too long for food because of the small dining area.

While we were on our weeks holiday at a cottage nearby. We stopped in at The Pub Downtown we tried the Haddock and chips it was excellent really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the cracking of the peanuts that were free on the tables. The food was really tasty and the portion was excellent for the money. The lady who served us was excellent and really friendly. Well worth the visit.

Tasty good quality and large portions. Had the halibut & fries. Yummm. Will be back f'sure!
