Love the restaurant decor which makes the space look fresh and welcoming, just like the food and where it originates from. The complexity of all the various choices can be off putting but with the guidance of the staff you can become a Poke Box expert. The food is fresh, exciting and tasty - an awesome addition to Whitby! I can't say enough of all the flavour profiles available to patrons and the combos that make eating a poke box just mouth wateringly delicious. I plan to visit the restaurant a lot more in the months ahead and encourage everyone to try a poke box at least once in their lifetime. Gluten free options are available but always check with staff to ensure they meet your needs.
Finally got to try The Poke Box, and I have 0 regrets! Everything looked so delicious that we forgot to take photos -- but the food is on point. Awesome and quick service, generous portions and very yummy poke! Update: I had to go back for more and this time I didn’t forget the photos!

I had a wonderful first time experience here the other day for lunch. It’s such a great addition to the plaza. My poké box turned out so well I can’t wait to go back and get another. Lots and lots of options for different flavour combos. You could go every day and find something different to enjoy. Ingredients were all very fresh and the place was bright and clean. The girl who served me was very patient and kind as well, which I appreciated as I got familiar with the options available.
Food is amazing, tasty and delicious! My husband and I tried the Big Umami and we both loved it. Customer service is also great! Definitely my go-to place now for poke bowls. Would recommend!
I recently dined at The Poke Box North, a relatively new restaurant in Whitby. They offer a wide variety of made-to-order poke bowls, using fresh ingredients. They offer several signature bowls, or you can create your own, with three different sizes to suit your appetite. There are lots of ingredients, garnishes, sauces, and other add-ons to choose from. I opted for the following: Ruffled Up Smoked Duck, Cabbage, Tempura Shrimp, Mandarin Orange, Cucumber Dill, Tamago, Tamari Glaze, Furikake, Sweet Onion, Crispy Onion, Cucumber Garlic Koa Chicken Karaage, Cabbage, Edamame, Corn, Garlic Aoili sauce, Tamari Glaze sauce, Nori, Tamago, Green Onion, Sesame, Togarashi, Ginger I substituted Surimi for the Tempura Shrimp in the Ruffled Up. Both bowls were delicious! If you're in Whitby, check them out!
It was our first time trying it, and we were pleasantly impressed. Every mouthful was delicious! Beautifully presented and very tasty. Got the Lava Blaze and Rip Tide - very fresh fish, meat, and veggies. 100% recommend. Parking: Plaza parking lot

So glad this place opened up, we needed something like this out here in Whitby. As soon as you walk in, the place is bright and lively and you're immediately welcomed. The staff was very patient and very helpful and fully explained everything. The food was amazing and so good!Food: 5/5
Got the poke box and substituted the salmon for tofu. Was a bit more expensive then I was expecting but got two meals out of it. Very delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
