The Peach Pitt

My new vehicle was having problems and stalled as we were driving in to The Peach Pitt. Charlie came out to see if I needed any help. Later when I went into talk to him he was very generous by driving me to the gas Station to get more fuel. As it turned out it was a combination of having low fuel and a vapour lock due to the tempatures. Charlie I will be indebted to your kindness you have shown today and we have really enjoyed the fresh fruit and vegetables we purchased today as well. Please drop by to see this family owned business. They have great ice cream as well!!!

This is a good fruit stand with fresh baked pies. There are many home-made canned goods and jellies. The staff are very helpful.

Excellent choice of the freshest fruit, picked from the orchard right behind the stand. Wonderful and cheerful staff and the owner lady was an absolute blast. Left there with more than just fruit. A wonderful joyful experience. Totally recommend this to all travellers in the Summerland

This used to be a go to spot for us. This past weekend we made a special Saturday road trip and stopped in to see what was fresh and local. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. With the prices primarily. Fruit pies for $20??? When we first started coming here 4 years ago pies were $13. Next 4 cobs of shucked corn for $8?? I'm sorry to say but there are far better places around the Okanagan now. Blueberries are in season, however a pint basket was $8 and not cleanly picked. I don't like giving poor reviews but paying people should know.
