The Parlour Dairy Bar

The place was really aesthetic and had ample seating. Service was nice. Ordered the Korean fried chicken poutine and the red velvet cheesecake milkshake. Was really excited to try these out as they sounded interesting but they didn’t live up to my expectation. For the Korean fried chicken poutine, I expected more authentic kimchi taste on it but there wasn’t a lot put on there. There was an interesting sauce that was added, not sure what it was but wasn’t bad and the food was served warm almost cool rather than fresh and hot. Otherwise the fries were a good size, fried chicken was good and the quantity for the price was worth it. The milkshake although had small cheesecake pieces in it, I expected it to taste like red velvet. But instead it was faint and tasted more like birthday cake to be honest. Overall, the place is good if you would like to take pictures. Food experience can be improved.

All the food was amazing! It's also very adorable in there, service was great! They sweetly had balloons for the kids. We had fries, grilled cheese, chili cheese dog, strawberry milkshake, mint chocolate cone, and cinnamon toast crunch funnel cake. All were 10/10 amazing. Would definitely recommend going and we will go again for sure!

Best milkshakes in all of Ontario hands down. The red velvet cheese cake is like heaven on earth. The cookies and cream and also the cookie monster milkshake are so delicious. Can't beat this place. Received the highest level of service from Lista. Very cool person and down to earth and took her time explaining the different flavors. Will be back for sure

I went here today for the first time and I will absolutely be back again. I had the pulled pork poutine and my wife had the Hula Dog with a birthday cake shake. We both loved our meals. The shop was adorable, had great music, and the service was great! The poutine was huge so I didn't have any ice cream, but they had a huge variety that I can't wait to try next time I visit

Absolutely unreal food. While they are best known for their ice cream I found them on skip the dishes for their food. I ordered the Mac Daddy poutine and the Poached Pear grilled cheese. The poutine was massive, enough for two to share. Was so delicious. I’m usually not a fan of poutine but this was so good! Was just as good the next day too! The grilled cheese was fantastic but a little too sweet. I think the caramelized were a bit too much for the whole thing. Can’t wait to try the ice cream as well next time I stop by.

We love The Parlour, the service, the ice cream, the food, the experience!! We recently had our sons birthday party at the Ottawa St location and it was amazing. 8 4/5 year old boys taking over the ice cream shop was so much fun!! They had kids meals which were delicious as always and a build your own sundae bar! Nixon felt like a king, he was treated with such care and made to feel so special from staff!!! I’d highly recommend

Amazing!! The interior and exterior are super nice, and the ice cream is 10/10. The texture is soft and the taste is amazing. Wayy better than typical ice cream in tubs. The flavours are unique too. I got mint choc chip and lemon lavender, they were soo good.

I had walked by it a handful of times and it always made me smile. It kinda stands out! My first real job was in my small town Dairy Bar, so I was naturally drawn to view the menu posted on the exterior of the building. It looked good and authentic for a Dairy Bar back in the day. I had errands to run so I walked away. Then last week that particular craving.. for a proper Dairy Bar footlong hit me and I quickly headed down to Ottawa Street where I finally opened the door to this little pink time machine!! This place did not let me down!! The food taste like Dairy Bar food tasted like when I was in high....never mind.. The price was reasonable, the service professional and friendly but the corker that seals it for me was the authenticity of the complete package.

Was here last month, and am still floored by the poutine my family and I had! Absolutely the best tasting stuff I've had in Ontario, a great value for the price. And the young women who helped us were so kind. I would absolutely go out of my way to return for the Korean fried chicken poutine again someday. Thanks!

Love this place! Great dessert selections, grat prices and portions. The staff is always friendly and it has a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy your treats.
