Aunt Jean Creams

I had a craving for some authentic Caribbean food and Aunt Jeans Creams came up on my search. Not too far from where I was, I gave it a try. A little shop on Parkdale ave with a walk up counter, I was greeted by friendly staff. You order from the window and they get it ready for you. There is a small waiting area but unfortunately no interior seating. I got something simple Coco bread patty sandwich. Tasty quick bite to eat. Looking forward to trying a Roti or a dinner. Will update review then...for now 4 stars for friendly service and tasty patties!

I ordered the jerk chicken poutine with coleslaw. It was delicious, and had an appropriate portion size. I loved the taste of the chicken I've never had jerk chicken, so i don't know how it compares to other places. I also got the beef patty and the veggie patty, both excellent. The coconut milkshake was divine as well. I would definitely recommend trying this place, even if you're not familiar with Caribbean cuisine. I ordered through delivery, so the photo is my plating, not the restaurant - also, these are half portions because I split the meal into 2

Curry goat meal was thick and grainy almost. ordered extra gravy - you cannot call that a gravy. Rice and beans a bland with no gravy or seasoning. Oxtail was too sweet did not eat. Not sure why it is so dark. Good milkshake and okay chicken roti - thank goodness for the hot sauce . I felt this meal was overpriced for the quantity and quality of the meal.

Got the jerk chicken and it had no coleslaw included, the rice wasn’t the same as other places. The chicken was not good at all, it was bland with no spice and compared to other restaurants it was definitely no where close to what other places give with coleslaw and rice. Definitely not what I expected when all the reviews were raving about the jerk chicken…. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

I just ordered some of this from skip the dishes. FANTASTIC. I tried the patty , jerk chicken with hot sauce. And curry goat Roti with gravy ! The Roti is huge ! I’ll order some more menu items next time. Thank you to the wonderful cook! Delicious!

I’m shocked on the quality of the food for the price. I was hoping the reviews were just people on their bad days so I gave it a chance. For $9 I expected more curry goat and flavours than that and the jerk chicken meal is ok. Wouldn’t buy again it’s expensive

I am so very excited to find good carribean cuisine. The Goat and Chicken were so scrumptious. Of corse we got the coconut milkshake too. I have heard so much about, and it was phenomenal. Would definately recommended them. As they are extremely busy at times i placed my orser in advance and picked it up and it was still piping hot when i got home. Well done, Aunt Jeans!

My wife are from Washington DC and were visiting family in the Hamilton area. Both having Caribbean roots looked up what Hamilton had to offer and Aunt Jean Creams came up as a top destination and BOY!!! did it not disappoint. The food was good it brought us back to the Caribbean. I had the jerk chicken meal and that was fall off the bone meat and season succulently. My wife had the curry chicken roti and let’s just say she didn’t want to share so bought another and the chicken roti we shared that one was INCREDIBLE!! I am for sure making Aunt Jean Creams a spot when next I’m back in Toronto and recommend to anyone in the Toronto area. It’s worth the drive to Hamilton. Thanks Aunt Jean Creams

Honestly friendly people but I’m not going here again prices different when you walk in from door dash and we paid too much for two Roti 35.00 and the curry goat I got lack of goat was so small never again. The rice was kind of hard and I had to throw everything away non edible tasteless goat. I’m gonna cook my own food from now on cheaper and taste better. You live and learn and this place is a big No

The worst chicken I’ve ever encountered. Burnt and smelly. It’s amazing how the comment was responded to a literally took back the food left it on the counter and did not ask for my money back. And the gentleman told me not to return to his store.
