The Owl Cafe

All staff members were very kind and welcoming. The interior decoration and vibe is also very warm and cozy. I really love that the seating area was fully decked out in Christmas decorations, that they played gentle holiday music in the background, and that they had the cozy fireplace. There's lots of seating, there is wifi. Store was very clean as well. If I had to suggest areas for improvement, I would say, the lattes could be made less hot so the milk texture is more pleasant, and the baked goods I ordered a scone could've been a little more crumbly and ideally heated before serving.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Stopped in today with my mum and got two lattes delicious and made very hot, a muffin fresh out of the oven and exquisitely good, and a butter tart square supreme indulgence! The service was excellent and the prices were extremely reasonable considering how fresh and homemade everything was - with tax, our order came out to $16. We went back in and left a generous tip because we were so impressed by it all. The setting is lovely and peaceful and there's just so much good energy around this enterprise. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!

Good place to have a coffee, a pastry, or even a light lunch/snack. The staff is wonderful and the place is spacious and cozy. This coffee shop is part of an initiative to give workforce training to people with intellectual disabilities, and honestly it's an amazing initiative to support and come here for a coffee. I would definitely reccomend to try their Chai Tea Latté and their cherry loaf. They were both very good.

Can't say enough good things about this café. Warm and cozy, lovely friendly staff, great coffee and delicious baked goods. What more could you ask for.

Great little spot off the beaten track. A social enterprise helping folks that need a hand up - brewing great coffee, great baked goods and tasty lunch offerings. Really worthwhile to check it out - you will keep coming back!

Great quality food, great price and very nice people. Bought lunch on Friday and was offered a sincere “ thank you for your support “ if visiting Ottawa again I’ll be sure to stop in again.
