Bright and Cheery place with a variety of menu items for just about any taste. Whether you are craving a sandwich or a salad or just something different, they have what you would like. Even their soft drink machine gives you more offerings than most.
Happened to be in this area one day; thought we'd try it out. I had the gyro, the hubs had the burger. Both were good. Friendly team, looked clean. Kid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere
The food is very good the service is friendly and very helpful. The restaurant itself is nice and clean. This place is a go-to for us when we don't feel like cooking.Food: 5/5
Had not had hot dogs here in a while. Hot dog was good but the bun used is not the typical Chicago dog bun. It was kind of harder and I thought the bun size and taste overwhelmed the hot dog. Would rate it below the ones I get from Portillos. Will be back but will stick to ordering gyros hereFood: 3/5
I only had the gyro which was better than most but I've heard the burgers and hotdogs are excellent too!
Their 8-piece Jumbo Shrimp Basket is what it says....shrimp! Excellent shrimp! The fries are ALWAYS awesome!
Tonight we were coming home to Michigan from a Cubs game at Wrigley and we were in slow traffic trying to get to George's before the closed. We made it with only 15 minutes to spare. Their staff was totally accommodating with our meal requests and waited for us to finish our dinner before turning off the lights. What great food and hospitality! And we have 2 quarts of lemon rice soup in the cooler.
Great place for gyros or Italian beef. Very generous helpings of everything...customers definitely get their money's worth. The wraps, sandwiches, and hot dogs are also good. The fish sandwich deserves honorable mention; it's larger and more flavorful than the equivalent at most national fast food chains. While you're there, your kids will be interested in the large fish tank while you admire the hand-painted murals on the interior walls depicting scenes from Chesterton, which fit well with the historic pictures also on display. Finish your meal with a Greek dessert.
Great old school atmosphere where drive ins are a thing of the past but it is awsome blast from the past. Plus there food is great but dont do door dash or your food will be cold.Food: 5/5
We have frequented here. & have tried almost everything. They have a little of everything. Salads, soups, burgers, chicken sammiches, pizza puffs the fries are always hot & food good. Parking: Large lot. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access.
