Site of 1988 Calgary Winter Olympic speed skating oval. Still in use today for competition and training by international skaters. Ice quality is world class due to perfect combination of temperature, humidity and other variables. Very hard and perfectly flat for world leading times.

I volunteer for the Speed Skating World Cups each time there’s one in Calgary.  Great facility. I’m going to have to go back for the free skate sometime.  Great fans from around the world come to the events

One of the great skating place in canada and the world. Most of professional skaters comes every year for their training and you can watch their training for free from the upper entrance. during winter season, the oval opens to public normally on friday night.

Best ice in the world for sure! Fun Skate is a great way to spend an evening
