This is our first time in Chilliwack. We loved the 1881 neighborhood, the old European-style buildings, and the Christmas lights. It was very beautiful. The most enjoyable thing is that we enjoyed a delicious dinner. This is really a treasure restaurant in the 1881 neighborhood. No reservation is required. Dinner is also available at 4 pm. The waitress Liza, a beautiful lady knows that our first time in the restaurant, so she carefully introduced the specialties, including Polish, French, and Italian cuisine. We chose the salad, tuna, and lamb shank she recommended, which is amazing! The taste is great, especially the tuna wrapped in sesame seeds and served with a rich and fragrant soup. It is so delicious! Three courses cost $93, which is a great value for the delicious food, considering inflation!nWe don’t drink alcohol, so Liza served us hot water + lemon. When she brought us a beautiful antique bone china cup, I surprised beyond words. Generally, this free hot water is served in ugly glass cups, but this restaurant actually uses antique British bone china coffee cups, which makes we feel great! We will come back again! Delicious food, warm service, and a great night!
Cute brunch spot with a lovely aesthetic. We enjoyed the pierogi and split a banana bread - both super delicious. Server was friendly! Definitely a gem for District 1881
We loved this place so much that we went twice—once for dinner and another time just to enjoy coffee. Both visits were outstanding. The ambiance is that of a cozy yet elegant French bistro, perfectly blending warmth and sophistication. While the restaurant is known for its top-tier cocktails, we found ourselves enjoying the wine selection. Each dish we ordered was made with care and bursting with flavor—every bite was a treat.nnThe service added to the charm, with a team that was not only attentive but also genuinely fun and friendly, making the experience feel welcoming and special. The espresso and cappuccino were also top-notch, perfect for taking a moment to relax on a rainy day. The covered patio looked inviting as well, a great spot for enjoying a meal outdoors.nnThe brunch menu looked amazing too; we’ll definitely be back to try it next time. The Offy is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood, called District 1884, filled with charming little shops, making you feel as if you've stepped into a European escape. It's definitely worth the trip—even from afar. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience or just to pop in for a coffee and cake!
We visited during happy hour and ordered the crispy duck wings and Holy Macaroni—both were exceptional and left us wanting full-size portions next time! The duck wings were perfectly crisp outside and tender inside, offering a truly unique flavor. The Holy Macaroni was equally impressive, with a satisfyingly crispy exterior and rich, flavorful interior.nnFor our main course, we had the sesame-crusted yellowfin tuna, which was both delicious and beautifully presented. We also tried the French onion soup, a standout dish that balanced flavors perfectly without being overly salty—changing my usual hesitation toward this soup entirely!nnOverall, it was an outstanding dining experience with impeccable flavors and presentation. We’ll definitely be back!
I love the vibe and service we have experienced each time we have been at the Offy I have spent my 2 birthdays with brunch at the Offy and have loved not just the food but the service as well Leza was fantastic this past visit. The decor is lovely and nostalgic. It feels like a little piece of Paris to me and I love it! Wether your looking for a place for cocktails or a cup of coffee served in a vintage fine bone china or a great meal you can’t go wrong with The Offy.
