Came here for my ladies birthday and i think it got me bonus points. Delicious food, well plated, perfectly seasoned and great service our water glasses never ran out once. We will return again! They have a lovely intimate patio to enjoy on a warm summers night. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Quiet intimate and romantic
The Nest Bistro has a dimly lighted romantic atmosphere excellent for lovers to dine out at night. Their food is artistically presented!
From having the delightful Sarah take care of us, to every last crumb, this was the BEST! Everything was cooked and prepared perfectly. Thank you Sarah and all the staff.
The hotel restaurant was closed so I knew it might be tough getting dinner if I left it to chance. The Nest is well reviewed here on TA and looked near enough to stroll to once we’d checked in. It isn’t exactly on the main road and we passed a few other eateries that had been recommended.
First time to go in a year and a half. Quality of food has deteriorated incredibly, borderline disgusting.
We have lived in big cities & travelled the world, we are grateful to have a restaurant like The Nest in Nanaimo. There are not a lot of independent eateries that have lovely wines by the glass, cocktails, upscale/tasty food prepared & served with love & a smile.
