The names of the meals were witty 10/10 for menu creativity. The food was definitely tasty. Loved that the nachos were layered so it wasn’t like other places where you eat the top layer and you just have plain nachos. Their beef patties have a very particular flavour. I for sure will come back to try other items on the menu as the food was fantastic. Minus a star as service was poor. We waited almost an hour to get our food and the server wasn’t very attentive. But the food for sure made up for it and I’d be curious to see if this was a regular occurrence or if they were just short staffed that night.
I always order The Big Nasty and it never disappoints. However, my wife was craving for nachos and we ordered the Trash Can Nachos and they weren’t good. The crew got in touch and invited me to try it one more time, and it was simply phenomenal. Incredibly well made and tasty. The chicken wings and the poutine were also delicious. Best Pub in town!
Coming all the way from Alberta, The food was amazing and we were not disappointed. The drinks were incredible as well. We had the famous ceasears, trash can nachoes and ordered 3 different burgers. WOW! The portions and flavors were fantastic! We had a wonderful server by the name of Destiny, she went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our expereince. Cant wait to return when back in the area. Great Job Nelson St Pub!! The Rauchs xoxox
this place is great, the service was really awesome I love how she gave me a double caesar and told me after she was so cute. We had the nacho bucket and th caesar and it did not disappoint. I want to come back and try the heart attack cheese burger tower or that menu item with 40 slices of bacon on it.
Great atmosphere and staff. Service was great. Ordered chips with garlic aioli to start which was fantastic. My guest and I each got burgers Mac Attack and Angry Lucy which were great. Poutine was good. Onion rings were average and weren't better than what you'd find at a fast food joint. Lost a star because at the time the TVs in the pub weren't fully functioning. I Would definitely return.
Update: 3rd time visiting and never disappoints. The pickle spears are sooo good and I recommend the Megh burger and sweet potato traxs. The food is always to die for. We love coming here during the week as it's not too busy. Great local pub. Good food, friendly employees all around good establishment and a treasure to have in the valley.
So happy we came across this pub. Service and food was great, and they were open past 8pm on a Saturday night!
BEST service every time hands down. Great staff Alyssa is an asset, very friendly and kitchen staff is on there game. Food is quick, hot and delicious. Also very fun menu. Stop here every time we roll threw town. Definitely be back again and already looking forward to it. High 5's everyone
We planned a weekend away around visiting The Nelson Street Pub. We drove 6+hours and we were not disappointed! The food was awesome!!! Drinks were good and the atmosphere
I just want to say I’m super impressed with this restaurant! We had gone to the restaurant J&E’s bored and Saucy and we waited for an hour and a half for food that never showed. We waited for a new drink for 45 minutes after they made it wrong and that never showed. The Nelson St Pub, made our night so much better! The staff were amazing and entertaining. Our server, Maddy, was very lovely. The food arrived at our table in a respectable time. THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR NIGHT OUT BETTER!!!
