The Molly Brown Bar

My personal favorite bar in town. Lots of pool tables and other games like darts and shuffleboard. Friends with the bartenders who know is by name. Get there early to snag a spot on busy nights like trivia on Wednesday, or a typical weekend.

Decent trivia night. Good beer variety. Fairly cheap. Has pool and shuffleboard, but they weirdly take your id as collateral for the shuffleboard pucks, and if they have a band, they might shutdown the pool tables and have a cover.

Best bartenders (Scott, Katie) great environment. Most pool tables in bozeman, plenty of gambling machines and is very open so rarely is it overcrowded.

The Molly Brown isn't what you'd call a high-end establishment, but it's one of the best places in town for pretty low-key fun. You're not going to find loud music and dancing here. You will find a bit older of a crowd than some of the downtown bars (think mid 20's and 30's), and a more relaxed atmosphere. There are pool tables, darts, foozeball, shuffleboard, and poker as well as VERY CHEAP BEER. Wednesday night trivia is awesome (starts at 8pm, but don't expect to win because my team always does ;) ), and it's just an overall great atmosphere if you're looking to keep it chill with some friends.
