Barton's Motel

The decor was slightly dated but in great condition and very clean! Awesome place for a getaway! Owner was very nice and the rates were reasonable. Definitely would stay there again.

Barton's is a classic Motel from the old era of 1950s car vacations. It is not fancy. The rooms are pretty basic but they do have a small refrigerator and flat screen TV in each. The big draw of Barton's is location. It is right on Paugus Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee. There is a nice dock and a beach and comfortable chairs for guests to enjoy the view. There is also a nice outdoor pool. It is conveniently located near many different attractions and things to do in the area. There is also a great diner across the street for breakfast. Prices are expensive for the basic Motel accommodations they provide, however it is a resort area so you are paying for that and for the excellent location. We've come here for a long weekend for over 10 years. I've checked out other spots and in spite of Barton's being pretty basic it's a good deal for what is available in the area.

Owner's are great and it has an amazing beach. Close to everything and the rooms and cottages are clean. Best place on the lake for a family vacation

Love the simplicity. Love the view. Love how everything is about the days of, yet here we are today. Love it.
