The Lookout Inn

We stayed in the Green room, it was lovely! Very comfortable room, everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious, Eggs Benedict was amazing. Nice private balcony with a partial view of the river, quiet and relaxing. People who own the BB are very friendly. Couldn't of found a better place to stay. Highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at the Lookout Inn! Nicole and James were such great hosts. I loved the breakfasts and our room was cleaned every day. Nicole gave great suggestions on things to do and where to go and they both were so friendly and easy to chat with! The location was also fairly central that we were able to drive to a new part of the island every day. We'd stay there again for sure!

We were there on our anniversary. Super gracious, friendly, accommodating hosts! So clean and organized. They provided us all the information we needed, perfect room, amazing breakfast with so many choices. I’m still dreaming of the waffles. We had a separate entrance to our room. We were spoiled. Would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing place to stay. Nicole so graciously upgraded us to the honeymoon suite following a last minute cancellation by another guest. The room was beautiful and IMPECCABLY clean, like no kidding, by FAR the cleanest place we stayed in during our whole trip to the Maritimes. Breakfast is homemade by Nicole and was delicious, coffee too. We will definitely be back if we ever get the chance to go back to PEI. Thanks again Nicole and family!

Beautiful place run by great people. Nicole and James take excellent care of their guests and make you feel like one of the family. Breakfasts are outstanding, rooms are large and very comfortable. Minutes from New Glasgow lobster supper, very close proximity to golfing, fishing, bike trails, Cavendish, and other sites. This was our second stay, and we’ll be back.

This is my first experience with a bed and breakfast stay and all I can say is it's going to be hard to beat. The red room was gorgeous, everything you need plus very clean and comfortable. The view from the room was peaceful and a great back drop for our morning breakfast, which was phenomenally delicious. Nicole was the most kind and accommodating host and offers a beautiful experience. I highly recommend this stay, you won't be disappointed.

This is a wonderful family-run inn situated easy driving distance from Cavendish and Charlottetown. We stayed in the Gray Room which was roomy, clean, quiet, and well set up for an enjoyable stay. It looked onto the river which was really pretty when the sun was shining. The bed was heavenly and the breakfasts were wonderful - my husband is still talking about the poached eggs. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The price is really reasonable for such a charming and well-equipped B&B. Its worth noting that the entrances to at least some of the rooms are from the outside so you can come and go without entering the main home. We are really happy that we stayed here and it will be the place we book again on future trips to PEI. If you aren't already, this place will make you a B&B believer!

Fantastic place. The rooms are spacious, well decorated, and impeccably clean. Breakfasts are delicious. Location is great, pretty close to Cavendish beach and all things Green Gables, while still being just remote enough to be peaceful and quiet. And, most importantly, the hosts are amazing people. We only stayed one night, but they went out of their way to make us feel home, like we were staying with old friends. I highly, highly recommend.
