Story

With a view of Penobscot Bay in front and Mount Battie directly behind us, relaxing comes easily at the Lodge. From your private deck watch sailboats on the bay, wind-blown from island to island. Enjoy perfectly-appointed, clean, and comfortable lodging, experience dramatically dark, star-filled skies, the robust smell of fir trees mixed with a little wood smoke, and cool air on your skin. This is what Maine is all about.

Join us for a week or a weekend, in a fireplace suite or your own cottage. Start your day with complimentary continental breakfast of fresh baked goods from a local Camden bakery and a freshly-brewed cup of coffee in your in-room Keurig coffee maker. Come down to the office to plan your adventure; we'll help you make schooner reservations for a day on the water, pick the best hiking trails, and find unique local shops and galleries. If relaxation is what you're after, we schedule an in-room massage for total tranquility.
