Seascape Motel & Cottages

Pool and hot tub were amazing, above what other surrounding places offer. Clean, warm (heated) and with ocean views. The room was not high end by any means, small shower and room but so clean. Not a spec of hair or dirt when we arrived. The "breakfast" was a muffin and although yummy not my definition of breakfast so no high expectations there. Definitely would return.

I really like this place. In my youth I would rent a cottage(s) near the NJ shore that were sort of bare bones but cozy and functional. The Seascape had a bit of that same basic feel but was much nicer. There were small touches that made it very pleasant - ie nice floors, very clean & I sensed an "environmental feel" to it, by that I mean that I noticed there was no (or an absolute minimal) amount of plastic. Shampoo & soap came out of a dispenser (instead of tossing little plastic bottles out every day like every other place does). The bathroom was a good size, clean & there was even tasteful use of wood trim that gave it a more home feel than what you see at every hotel you find. I personally think carpet is never clean & holds bad smells, .. at the Seascape they don't have anything beyond a door mat. Maybe thats why it smelled clean & fresh and not like perfume covering who knows what form the last visitor. I will stay here again when pass through.

This place is sweet and 2nd generation family owned. The place was clean, quiet, comfortable, and the hot tub HOT! We loved it! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Cottage was nice and cozy. Rather close to the road. Could use improvements on the breakfast and coffee.
