Story

At The Little Gym, kids soar. Literally. They hop, they bounce, they leap through the air. But that's just the half of it. Because as their bodies soar, so do their spirits. And when they master a new skill or make a new friend, their confidence soars too.

This is by design. It's the result of a system based on research and years of experience. A system designed to boost self-esteem while building physical, social, and intellectual skills. It's why every year families return to The Little Gym. not just to stretch, but to grow. Not just to run, but to progress. Not just to jump, but to soar.

Reaching new milestones. We take a progressiver approach to strengthening skills and helping children discover their talents. Our age-specific curriculum is delivered in weekly lesson plans, with each new skill building on the last. Each semester brings new lessons, new friends, new accomplishments, and many new opportunities to soar.

LOVE The Little Gym at Shaker Heights!! All of the instructors are fantastic and the gym is super clean and nice. Most importantly, my son really enjoys the classes! He gets to spend time with other children, burn off some energy and learn new skills. I would highly recommend the TLG to anyone that is interested in trying it out!

Little Gym is wonderful!!!! My son is adopted and went from struggling to stay in class to listening, following directions (most of the time...) and having a blast! We love it, referred my sister and nephew. Sam's future preschool will thank him for his experiences at Little Gym!

My daughter has been a member for over 3 years and she has always loved going to the Little Gym of Shaker Heights. She has developed great strength, mobility, social skills and good friends with the children and outstanding staff. The staff is really great with the children and the owner is superb. They have a great variety of classes offered, and the programs are very well structured. In addition, my daughter has enjoyed the camps available during school and summer breaks.I would recommend this place to anyone.

To be honest my daughter loved the little gym of shaker heights and loved most of her teachers. She made progress in her skills, had fun making new friends, enjoyed the music and playful environment and was thrilled to be able to do stuff she could not before. It is exactly as it promises to be a fun place, very nice staff, boosting developmental skills and confidence. Not professional gym teaching, more basic skills and having fun trying things out, explore and getting started. BUT it is NOT SAFE! Kids are left alone at equipment for enough time for accidents to happen. The teacher supervises a group while others are practicing by themselves. So they are not 100% supervised 100% of the time. Therefore additional risk for injuries is there - always. My daughter fell from a bar and broke her arm while 2 teachers were " supervising" (teaching) this class. Neither of them was standing by her or anywhere near her. I was there to watch it and I can tell it was preventable if just someone would have been closer.

This little gym has been far superior to any other kids gym or play place that I have ever attended in my experience with my 3 children. The customer service is through the roof. Employees go above and beyond to bond with your children and help them grow in all aspects of a child's life. In the 2 years I have been here, I have seen the same 6 teachers here who all know my kids almost as well as I do. Variety of classes, service with a smile and leaving all my kids happy every time we leave is priceless and Little Gym Shaker has never left me disappointed.
