After having played this course 10-15 times in the last year, I was starting to really enjoy it. Until the round my group had yesterday. Staff are completely classless imbeciles with zero golf educate and no sense of awareness. My group had 4 of the course employees go out for a tee time behind us, these guys were so impolite and impatient that my girlfriend sitting beside me in the cart was almost knocked out as the idiots sent there drive no more then a foot infront of our golf cart on hole 14. Woulda been one thing, if it was only this time and they yelled fore and or apologized, but like I said these kids lack all sort of golf educate and human decency… they proceeded to stripe there drives within inches-feet of my group, for 5 holes consecutively. Then when we tried to make em take some accountability and speak with management, the cowards refused to acknowledge what had happened. Still no apology what so ever and denied everything that had happened. Don’t go waste 105$ on a round here people, absolutely classless course.
Course layout: 5/5. One of the better courses in the area. Most holes are unique and overall fairly easy course to play.nnCourse condition 5/5 given were early in the year. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, greens all solid. No major complaints.nnCarts solid 4/5. No ball washers or anything but decent.nnPractice facilities 5/5: as expected and no complaints.nnClubhouse/restaurant: 2/5. Admittedly a cold ish rainy miserable day but at 6:30pm: clubhouse/restaurant closed. No ability to get any type of drink or snacks and obviously no cart guy/gal. Haven’t encountered this anywhere else at similar times.nnPrice: 7/5 through VIP twilight: $39 for 18 with a cart n range. Hands down best price in greater Edmonton area.nnWil
Updated: 26-Jun-2020nThe day we played, we found the course to be in excellent condition, with the tee-boxes and fairways lush and green. The greens were the quickest and smoothest we have played this year, a real treat for this time of year, early summer, and the amount of rain we have had. Because of the mix of bent and poa grasses the greens looked spotty and worse than than they played. Still one of the best tracks in the area. We always look forward to playing here, it is just a fun course to play.
The links is a nice place. When you first arrive it is visually appealing with the nicely manicured driving range and putting/chipping green. The club house is great and the restaurant was nice. The down side is the staff. They weren’t overly welcoming and were grossly understaffed in the restaurant. It seemed to take forever to get our food order even though it was wrong.nnGolfing was standard except the fairways seemed really on rough conditions and the greens were covered in sand or something like that.nnThere are a few holes that run along highway 16 and you definitely know it as it is so loud you can’t but hope to get by it fast.nnAll in all not a bad course but I would avoid it unless you hate golfing in tranquilly or nature.
Excellent, well manicured course. Mostly flat but features some water. Several holes are next to the highway so it isn’t the most peaceful round in the world, but other than that this is a great choice for golf in the Edmonton area.
