100% Recommend the Library Inn! Allison keeps the Library Inn beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. The small touches makes it the perfect mix between home and vacation. Great for short stays and long stays! Breakfast is DELICIOUS! We originally booked because we were going to the Fireworks Feast nearby but we plan to return to the Library Inn as soon as we can to stay longer! Enjoy your stay if you go!
It was a privilege to stay at the Library Inn while visiting PEI. Gorgeous Inn nestled in the town of Souris, with a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean! The rooms were large, clean and each had a small collection of great books to go along with the Inn’s theme. While we only got to stay for one night, Allison was incredibly hospitable and it was truly a highlight of our trip. We will definitely be back and hopefully have a longer stay next time we visit the island. I cannot recommend the Library Inn enough, you are guaranteed to have a serene experience. Thank you Allison!
I had a wonderful experience staying at Allison’s Library Inn. We had a great room, and had a very delicious breakfast served by Allison. She was very knowledgeable of the area and recommended lots of spots for us to go and see. I would be happy to stay here again, and hope to be back soon!Rooms: 5/5
Charming Victorian themed home steps away from the water and Main Street. Guests can expect big clean rooms, an impressive collections of books, and a home cooked breakfast; pro tip: try the variety of jams. The owner Allison was very kind and provided excellent recommendations for activities on the island.
From the moment we arrived at the Library Inn, we felt cared for. The Inn is a very mature Victorian property with beautiful antique furnishings and lovely sitting areas inside and a covered porch which is very suitable for relaxing with a book while glancing out at the water. The bedding is exceptional and Allison puts on a scrumptious breakfast which lends itself to the enjoyment of conversation with other guests. We are looking forward to returning to this beautiful and peaceful Inn.
I highly recommend this place. We just LOVED our stay over there. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The whole place puts you in a mood of quiet serenity. No wonder why they called it "The library inn". The housekeeper was very kind, and always looking forward to help. Finally, the breakfast simply delicious. We were there only for one night, but we promised ourselves to come back for a longer stay next time.
Quiet and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Library Inn. Big old house built around 1885. The host was very accomodating, breakfast was great.
Staying at The Library Inn is like returning to a warmer, gentler time. From the first moment we walked through the door we were welcomed by Allison’s kind hospitality and the cosy and pretty Inn which abounds with charm. The windows look out on a lane way of stately trees and we could see the waves lapping onto the ocean’s shore. After a day of combing the sands for shells or hiking, it was a pleasure to return to the Inn where there was always a cup of tea to be had, a place to sit and do crosswords by the fire or to chat with other guests. The breakfasts were delicious and made to order and our bedroom was not only beautifully appointed with everything we could possibly need but an oh so comfortable place to lay our heads at night after another fun day in P.E.I. Thank you Allison! We LOVED our stay here and will cherish the memories of our time at The Library Inn. karen and Richard
