Singing Sands Inn Motel and Wishing Tree Walk

Very well-kept and clean hotel. Our family stayed for a night after being at the beach. It's about 1km or so to the beach. This hotel looks like the day it opened (1950s-1960s), which I mean as a compliment. Everything looks like the day it was built. Pool and hot tub were not heated as advertised but that wasn't a deal breaker. Owner/operator was very friendly and communicated by email to confirm reservations months in advance. Value for money compared with cottages or short-term rental is a bit skewed but we enjoyed our stay.

It was ok. Rooms were fine but the outside of the building was looking run down. Need some more renovations. Great lookout spot though.

My stay here was the best part of PEI. This location gave me the real PEI experience. This prime location backs onto the Singing Sand Beach. The singing sand beach hit its name from the sound the sand makes when you walk on it. It was the most beautiful beach - felt like I was in the Caribbean somewhere. At the end of the day, I enjoyed the warm hospitality of the Singing Sands Inn watching humming birds and w noting the view of the beach and potato farm. Will do it again this year.
