The Kitchen Dada

went for dineout Vancouver and this place was very much worth it. egg was silky smooth. the beet and sashimi salad was one of the best salads I've had in my life. They shredded the beets and deep fried them over a generous bed of sashimi and salad. The oshi was fantastic. melted in your mouth.

If it wasn’t for dine out Vancouver, I would never have discovered this restaurant in this neighbourhood. The service was attentive and the dishes come out lightning fast, almost too fast. The assorted nigiri was delicious and flavourful. Will definitely consider this place again if in the area.

I went to Dine Out and had their 6-Course Omakase for $45! A great Japanese restaurant around UBC ~ just around 5 minutes away. The omakase was a great overview of their menu. I really liked their nigiri and oshi sampler and their sashimi beets salad. Also, the staff was really sweet and attentive. They didn't have their a la carte menu during their dine out period but looking at their website it looks like they have new take out specials everyday! I highly recommend for the value, quality and taste!

This is a very reasonably priced and very fresh sushi place in Vancouver. The food is tasty, comes quick, and plentiful. Definitely suggest coming here to eat if you’re in the neighborhood. A couple of things to note, the karaage trio is interesting but I find original flavour still the best. Also make sure to ask for water when you first sit, otherwise it’s assumed you’ll be ordering drinks. Overall a pleasant experience and would definitely come back again.

Delightful dining experience. Very nice ambiance with the music and sound baffling ceilings. Service was polite and attentive. The chawanmushi was delicious and salmon very fresh. Personally prefer richer soup broths but the udon was still a step above average. Terriyaki chicken hot plate is very generous in portion, we had to pack leftovers. Can't wait to visit again!

Service was slower than I expected but I will give it a 3.5 star because of Dine Out. The portions were a bit too small. The waitress was overwhelmed by the crowd for sure. The hot tea they offered was just hot water. Not sure if I would come back.

Great place just around the corner from my place . They quality of all the ingredients is there. It tasted exactly like it is supposed to plus all the great flavors they chef create. They make a very good miso soup as I am very fond of this delight. Definitely recommend and the price are very acceptable.

If you're looking for sushi that's sure to satisfy your cravings, look no further than Kitchen dada sushi bar! I usually order take-out from West Van, but since that's a long commute from where I am living now, my go-to sushi spot is Kitchen dada. The salmon oshi zushi is my favorite dish here: it's made with spicy mayo and jalapeño peppers, and it always hits the spot. I'm from Alberta so anything that is even remotely passable here blows whatever I can find at home out of the water. Not to say this place is just remotely passable, far from it. The sushi was incredibly good; very fresh and the seafood can stand on its own without any help. The udon soup was also excellent; the soup was incredibly simple but tasty while the noodles were toothsome. The tempura was also very good, but the highlight was 100% the sushi. One of the best sushi’s I’ve ever had!!!! I was visiting from Chicago and my brother took me to this place. The food was amazing, service was great and the owner was very friendly. Try Oshi for sure and go for suggestions by the staff.
