The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Macleod Trail

I took my wife to the keg for her birthday. First off the atmosphere is pretty good, most of the seating appears to be booths which is nice. It is quite loud and the decor is somewhat dated, but still a great environment. The drinks were a little disappointing. My wife's cocktail was slightly warm and the glass wasn't even full. I ordered a beer that also wasn't full all the way. The food is great, calamari starter was really good, I ordered a steak which was cooked perfectly rare. My wife's salmon was fantastic. Since it was her birthday we received a complimentary dessert. The food was fantastic, service was top notch. For coming in during a peak dining hours on a Friday I was impressed with how quick the food came out. My only major detractor was the drinks we were served.

I had a nice time at the Keg. We arrived a little early for our reservation and were sitted at the bar... The bartender shyly admitted that he could not make one of the drinks that we ordered off the menu but honesty is the best policy! The meals were amazing; I opted for the steak and lobster meal and my partner had a juicy burger. It was a cozy experience. Our server was nice and quite helpful as well. Lots of parking space and wheelchair accessible.

After 5 months of not dining out, I just had to visit The Keg! My favourite steak restaurant for comfortability, delicious food, and great service! Every aspect of my visit exceeded my expectations! My server was an absolute gem - very personable, helpful, and quick for drinks and ordering. There wasn’t a single disappointment with my food, and might have been the most tender, delicious tasting steak and lobster! Overall, this latest experience might have been my all-time best experience!

Ate here again after a couple of years. Celebrated anniversary. The place was full but was able to get a seat eventhough we did not have a reservation. Server Nicole B was amazingly accomodating and attended to our needs. I had top sirloin steak and a side lobster. We had ceasar salad and baked oyster for appetizers and it just melts on the mouth. The experience was awesome and restaurant atmosphere was cozy and intimate. Food was served warm, our steaks were perfect. For dessert , we had Billy miner cake with 1 small candle to celebrate. Also thanks to Manager Nicole P who served our appetizers and checked our gift card. Good Service. Will definitely eat there again. Husband’s 50th Birthday dinner at The Keg was amazing. Service was friendly from the greeting at the front door to our waitress Ashley H’s attentive friendly service. Food was delicious and our steaks were cooked to perfection. We will be back.

We a great experience last night. Food was so good. I loved their crusted salmon. It was so fresh and delicious. Thanks to Gina for a pleasant service. She’s professional. Went beyond above.

Wait time was too long because the other branches were shut down due to the covid outbreak. But.... We were given free starters to compensate for the long wait time. The food though was a 100!!! So delicious and fresh!

Absolutely love this location, the Keg never disappoints! The staff are extremely professional and genuine, they make great suggestions for new meals to try! I always leave stuffed, because I can’t turn down the Billy Miner Pie!

Sooooo good! everything from the service, to the food, to the presentation was top notch. The tuna tartare was particularly noteworthy, blew us away. 10/10 would recommend and will return.

Attentive waitress. Had the French Onion soup, Garlic Cheese Toast, and the Prime Rib Sliders. All dishes were beyond our expectations, and the service matched the same quality! We will be back!
