The Keg in Waterloo has consistently gone above and beyond to provide an exceptional dining experience, especially for someone like me with celiac disease. They are incredibly knowledgeable and careful when it comes to gluten-free options, making me feel completely safe every time I dine there.nnMost times, a manager visits the table to ensure my order is handled properly, which is so reassuring. They even take the extra step of serving my plate separately from those containing gluten, which shows just how seriously they take food safety.nnAs for the food, it’s absolutely incredible! The steak is always cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. I always start with a Caesar salad no croutons, of course, and it’s consistently fresh and delicious.nnThe Keg doesn’t just provide great food; they offer peace of mind for those of us with dietary restrictions.

Been here twice and the service has always been flawless. It's not too casual and not too fancy for a weekday dinner or special occasion. The steak is always perfectly cooked and the cocktail selection is great. Their horseradish is extremely hot in comparison to other places but we don't mind!nnAs for atmosphere, the interiors are a bit dated for the price range and the table layouts feel very close together. Acoustics are not the best and can be improved as it may be hard to hear someone sitting across from you.

I ordered the top sirloin steak, and it was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were incredible as well. Our server, Nicole, was outstanding; she had a wonderful personality and provided excellent suggestions. As someone who is gluten-sensitive, I was especially impressed when the chef personally brought out my Caesar salad to ensure everything was prepared correctly. Overall, it made for a great meal to enjoy with our friends!!

Used a gift card for date night. Food and wine were great. Our server Shay was full of energy and very welcoming. Good food, good environment. Found the sides a bit small, but still tasty. A nice treat for the 2 of us.

The food was good, reliable, albeit small portions. Service at The Keg is always good as well, they do a good job training their staff.nnWhat I DON'T like is how uncomfortable the booth at the back of the bar area that we were placed in was.nnThe big wooden table is a bit too big for how tight the booth is and as a result the table was jamming into my stomach all night long, making things very uncomfortable and causing me to have to sit perfectly uprightnnBy far the most uncomfortable dining experience I've had in ages. At $300 for two people, we deserve much better. I'm unhappy overall. Should've pushed the waiter to seat us elsewhere, I regret it
