The Keg Steakhouse + Bar

The best The Keg location I have ever been to! Delicious food and exceptional service. Josie was an absolute delight! She was so friendly and always checked up on our table. My family and I were celebrating my dad's birthday and she surprised us with a birthday cake! That Billy Miner Pie was SO GOOD! I tried my steak cooked Chicago style medium rare. My first time doing so and it wasn't too bad! Also, the double baked potato is now one of my favourites. Thank you for making our dinner a memorable one. I'll definitely be coming back. Cheers!

It was my first time in the Keg as I read many good reviews and the place is known for great steaks. Me and my partner had scallops in bacon as an appetizer and it was great - I would definitely have it again. For main course, we had our steaks rare and medium, both were cooked to perfection according to our preferences. Old fashioned was prepared pretty well as well. All in all, good was perfect. What could be improved is the service. We visited on a Sunday, November 13th at 3:40 pm and by the end of our meal a fire alarm started, for some time everyone was just confused. And about 10 minutes after someone started to come to tables explaining that it must be someone in the Sherway mall who pulled the trigger, and it can’t be off unless firemen arrive and then it off. Then it wouldn’t stop for another 10 minutes and we asked for the bill, since it was impossible to stay there. I still left a tip to our waiter, it wasn’t his fault, and especially because everything was great besides that alarm accident. I think it would be best to offer some sort of compensation for such experience - people don’t come to a steakhouse every day, they probable have a special occasion. So did we. And we wanted to spend a nice evening, talking and having a good meal. But it was very loud, and definitely didn’t let us enjoy it enough.

I went there with my parents because I work nearby and my dad wanted to try a steak. I don’t usually eat steak because I find it hard to chew but the keg got it just right. It was full of flavour and cooked just right. The ribs were so delicious too. Loved their baked potato. The staff was really nice, they even gave me a free cheesecake since my birthday was that week.

First time at this keg location. Really liked the atmosphere here very intimate setting and beautiful interior just like any keg should be. Our host "Josie" was very helpful and kind, she provided exceptional service. It was my dad's birthday, as she asked us in the beginning if we were celebrating any special occasion. Ordered the steak and lobster tail. First time getting the Chicago style cooked steak medium rare. Not bad for first time trying this way of cook, you do need to like a bit of a crispier outside on your steak but once you break through that the medium rare inside is good. Double baked potato is a must! Love the baked potato here even the garlic mash is just as good! My dad got the holiday special Nashville sirloin bone in. Amazing! but you need to be a big eater for it as it comes in 18oz! Amazingly enough after we finished our meals, Josie bought out the keg's signature pie the Billy Miner! That is my favorite dessert at the keg! It was safe to say after we left the keg our whole family had smiles on their faces. Thank you Josie and the keg team at sherway. Cheers!

Chrissy our server was absolutely spectacular. We haven't had service like that in a looooong time. The Keg definitely needs to recognize this bright star. We loved the ambience and the food. We had a group of 9 in a nice private-ish spot. Food was delicious. Notable mentions go to their Summer Lobster menu. The Brie app is addictive. Steak cooked perfectly. Every plate was still hot when served. Great wine recommendations as well. And you can even take the bottle home if you don't finish it. The dinner was so good I went back the next day!

Nice spot conveniently located close to Gardiner. The interior is pretty chic and fun with lots of outdoor seating as well. The old fashioned was made well with bourbon and was pretty authentic. We got the peppercorn and filet mignon, both were cooked to perfection. The sides were good and appetizing. I’ve visited this location in the past and it’s a fun place to entertain clients, service is always good and food is delicious.

My boyfriend and I rarely go out for dinner as we have five kids our server Zullo was super kind made it is a very wonderful experience as we started off at a different restaurant and ended up here. We also received a complimentary dessert. Would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a night out. We received the 14 oz prime rib the 8 oz of pecan sirloin with added onion toppings, crab spinach dip, my boyfriend got a beer I ask the server Zulloto make me a surprised anything chocolate and he brought me out a chocolate martini that was amazing and then I also received a B-52 coffee that was perfect. We also got for dessert the mile-high chocolate cake we also got another cake that I can't remember what the name was but it was amazing the chocolate orange sangria combo was to die for the over all experience was amazing couldn't ask for a better way to spend date night would highly come back to this location

Had such a great experience on Valentines Day. The food was really good. I had the Valentines Day meal which consists of a Cesar Salad, Fillet Mignon/Lobster tail, and a Billy Miner Pie. We also ordered the Mushrooms Neptune and a few drinks. Everything tasted incredible and was cooked to perfection. I would also like to mention our waitress, her name was Natalia. She was one of the nicest waitresses I have came across. She came to check up on us multiple times and made sure we were having a great time. I will definitely be returning and hopefully she can be my waitress again.

Fancy Restaurant which is established 50 years ago and now they have some promo regarding their birthday Great name and we’ll know for their stakes. Their food reminds me the taste of grandma & grandpa’s dishes Their atmosphere is dark so that you can focus to your food and drinks, It is recommended

The service was very good from start to finish. Food was excellent like always, my table had the Steak and shrimp, the keg Burger and 6oz Steak. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant.
