The Katsu Japanese Cutlet House

I Work by the corner of this restaurant in Have never tried it, because the food is cutlet and in my perspective, it’s not healthy. So never had tried it before. Today we decided to give it a try and I should say the food didn’t feel greasy at all it didn’t come across heavy and it was done in a very, very efficient time. We got by there at 10 after 12 and the left 10 before one which for lunch is very great time and efficient. The service was great. The food this flavours really nice. It was priced very reasonable. if you want to try something, unique and tasty, give it a try. The food was not dry and crispiness was just perfect. The salad wasn’t heavily sauce and the rice with the right portion. It also have pickles and a really good dipping sauce and it’s come with the soup. For the price you pay I can definitely say it’s really I must try this little restaurant in downtown Langley. Parking: Curb side Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and it’s right by side walk

I finally got around to trying this place and I wish I had gone sooner! So delicious! Perfectly cooked cutlets and fabulous broth! Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu! PS- The salad is so good too!

Had a nice bday meal with the family. It tastes as great as it looks. Prices are reasonable for the meal set and you get the cutlet, soup, rice and salad. We would definitely come back again.

The kimchi Katsu was bomb. I loved every bite. Also we tried assorted katsu as well. Every protein was juicy and flavourful and crispy. Honestly did not disappoint. I also love their salad. It was perfect to pair to deep fried food. Price point was really affordable compared to the quality. Less than $20 for all the dishes. Can’t believe I always drive pass here but never tried it before. Will I be back? Most definitely!!!

Awesome katsu! So crispy and delicious, very good portions. When you order a beer they give you an ice cold glass to pour into. Very nice touch

The katsu we ordered - chicken, mix, and cheese - tasted very typical. The amount of batter used was not too thick either and the katsus were not over fried.

Literally the BESTTTT katsu. We got chicken and pork katsu, it was so tender and crispy. The waitress was super nice and explained their menu to help me select a dish I would love. We went around 12 and the restaurant was packed.

My picky eater 7 year old son loves pork katsu so much. We took him to many katsu places but he insisted that this place has the best tenderloin katsu. He could almost finish 1 portion of Hire Katsu by himself which is a huge portion. If you are bored with usual katsu, you can try kimchi cheese katsu nabe which we had last week. It was delicious! Came for dinner with friends and ordered the cheese katsu. The katsu itself was a underseasoned and a little bland. I asked the server if the rice and cabbage was unlimited most katsu places they are free refills and he confirmed but when I received my bill I was charged extra. Won't be coming back here again.

We have been a long time customer here since it opened. This is our favorite comfort food restaurant. The food is delicious and consistent, not greasy, quick service, reasonable price.Food: 5/5
